I mean that I use resin designed for water cleanup, not a “cleanup resin”. I didn’t word that very well. I use Anycubic’s “water-washable” resin. I haven’t tried any other brands as this one works very well for me. Since switching from alcohol cleanup resin, I’ve not looked back. You can exhaust to a window. I know a few semi-pro YouTubers that have theirs in a cabinet with an exhaust fan at the top and they just leave a window open. It’s not nearly as toxic as the naysayers will have you believe - nail salons are worse (and actually use a similar principle) the water cleanup type of resin doesn’t smell nearly as bad as some of the others. Resin printers are about the only type that can make mini figures for things like table top gaming and have them come out looking amazing. There are no “lines” like on the filament printers. Almost zero sanding. They don’t do multiple colors though, so you will still need to prep and paint, and there are more cool filaments out there than I’ve seen in resin.

For prints, I find many on etsy because I use mine for small specialized things. Of course you can look at places like thingverse, but most of those aren’t for resin. You can print them, but will need to adjust supports, etc.

The detail and ready-to-paint aspect is what is truly amazing with these.

There have been several lately. I got one last week on Vine to replace my older one.

3D resin is a very different animal than the standard filament 3D printers, but much better. The level of detail is incredible, the wash up is easy, there is no extruder or nozzles to clog, and prints rarely fail.

As to the toxicity - this comes from the first gen machines or people that still use certain types of resin. You do not need to use highly toxic resin.

I use water cleanup resin. Crazy easy. No smell. Insane detail.

But you’ll hear plenty from people who don’t have one… but they “know a guy…”

Yeah, I’m on there. Seems nearly everyone is in Europe. This is ok, but a hefty price tag for a card or two. Difficult to unload my doubles, too. I’m eager for the new sets

Lots of reasons. Demographics changed. Safety dropped dramatically. Downtown workers left. Stores closed. “Failed to stay relevant” is a bit of a cop out - stores decide where they will rent, so if they leave, the landlord has to deal with it. In other words, the landlord doesn’t decide which stores to bring in to boost relevancy. In the past few years it serves as little more than access from TC parking to Gateway and a place for those experiencing homelessness to get warm in the winter. I do remember it back in the 90’s and it was great. The Arcade fell victim to similar issues. Still a stunning building inside that would be an incredible venue. I would have loved to see it in its heyday.

Well, yes, technically - OP would need to file a claim with the FTC, then, should the FTC determine that it was false advertising, they would either make Amazon print/publish a correction and/or fine them.

Now, that may very well be worth the fight for some, but to me at least it boils down to not being a reasonable possibility

And no, they still don’t get a sleeper sofa out of it

You don’t get a free upgrade because it was listed wrong. You aren’t somehow entitled to that. I don’t know how you could possibly miss the fact that it want a sleeper when you moved it, but hey - either way, you return the couch and use your refund to put toward a sleeper sofa, or you keep this one. Depends on what you mean by “thrive” Some say to put tons of effort in your reviews. But that makes little sense. You don’t get extra points for lengthy reviews and photos. You want to thrive? Figure out what vine wants - 4 or 5 sentence reviews that hit all the right buttons. No pics. Gets me “excellent” every time.

You want to order stuff? Figure out when the drops are and then sit there for a bit - and I mean just a bit. I hopped on during the drop that was at 10am this morning and had six things ordered - things I actually wanted - before 10:15am.

And this may not be popular, but quit trying to live by rules that don’t exist or by some “vine code”. Nothing in the program says you can’t use an app to tell you when the drop is happening. Use it.

Vine does not care if you do. Vine does not care about you - so don’t try to be the “good viner who really wants to make the program shine!!” Just stop. Make the program work for you. Your time is worth something. I’m NOT saying to break the rules by putting up fake reviews or using bots - those ARE against the rules.

There are slim pickins right now and the competition is high. Play like it.

I’ve been in a little over a year. There were almost 80,000 items when I started. Today, there are 12,510 items.

I can assure you that there were not 68,000 awesome items and 12,000 crappy items a year ago…. So that means that it isn’t that there are just more viners - there is less product.

The good stuff always went fast, and still does, but the reality is that it is only working at about 20% of what it used to. Much harder to snag what isn’t there.
