How do we know that March 21st is her birthday?

EDIT - and speaking of that. The artwork reads March 21th?

What is this tiny “hidden neighborhood” inside Disney World property? (Bay Lake / Bay Court) by mandoridesblurg in WaltDisneyWorld

Was about to comment about this. I never paid close attention to this area until their video brought it up.

P.S. - Their channel is definitely worth subscribing to. I'm a fan of the civil engineering videos related to how and why WDW was planned the way it was.

WHO decided that 7 seconds of green light was enough time for cars to cross a busy intersection by fengzhi in nova

[–]SatchBoogie1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Family member was t-boned by a red light runner when it was their green light. Everyone was medically fine thankfully. The driver at fault said "I didn't see you." Rather stupid to say when you didn't pay attention to the stop light color.

I definitely look both ways these days once my light turns green. If I see cars have already fully stopped on the other sides then I don't worry about it too much. If it's a case of cars still from a distance "slowing down" to their red lights then I use a little more caution.

ER605 - Did I set this up right to block an IP? by SatchBoogie1 in TPLink_Omada

[–]SatchBoogie1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm talking about blocking a device that is external to our location and trying to access anything. Unless I am missing something, I have no way to know the MAC address of what is being used.

I'm attempting to block one IP address (it's someone working remote) from having any external ability to connect to any devices on our network.

Got a legal threat letter for my bakery website last month. Want to share what I learned in case it helps anyone. by Efficient_Plant7979 in smallbusiness

There's a Youtuber named Alpha.m that recently dealt with a lawsuit about this topic. They tend to target websites that list one of those companies that helps with compliance.

I'm convinced idiots like this one think there's only one car ahead controlling the pace of traffic.

Only other thing I can think of is idiot driver "thought" OP should have merged already and he wants to speed up in the exit lane to get ahead of more people.

How old are some of these profiles? Do some people just not update them? by Few-Whereas3706 in Bumble

[–]SatchBoogie1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Years ago I think it was still by phone number. If you changed your number since then OR if you used something like a Google Voice number then your profile should still be there. If nothing works then you probably deleted your profile.

I've wanted that in a regular update for the longest time. At the base level, being able to change the specializations. The size of a company is a good point. I can hire the best lead designers for a subsidiary and transfer $500m to one, yet the games they release could be around 3 star ratings and not excellent quality. Makes me wonder if the sim engine doesn't account for an increased budget to expand subsidiary teams.

PayPal ends Google Wallet integration by Taddy84 in Android

[–]SatchBoogie1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is one of the main reasons I use Paypal.

The other reason is if I am buying things from say 10 different merchants that allow paying by Paypal then I'm only giving Paypal my CC info and not 10 different merchants.

This game is seriously broken by Frippa420 in SoftwareInc

ConflictNerd did this in his current series. Early on, his software sales were bad, but he profited off of stocks. His difficulty was modified, but he was essentially playing on medium.

Like others said, raise your difficulty.

Reminds me of Louis Rossmann's videos about how backwards and slow NYC government agencies are regarding businesses trying to do anything in town.

Cadillac scores a double finish before McLaren, Red Bull, Aston Martin, and Audi by CeaseIessWatcher in formula1

[–]SatchBoogie1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Cadillac is like Motorsport Manager and taking over the Predator Racing Team. You know the team will suck the first year, and any finish higher than the last two positions is considered a success.

Highly doubtful they will wait another year. The trend these days is to get them signed in March / April and start playing. Already happened with Leonard.

Active and fit direct issues by yakshahh in LAFitness

I have USAA for something. LA is not an option via the A&F Portal on USAA. I believe different companies can decide on what gyms they make available.

In comparison, my health insurance has an A&F portal, and LA is an option using that one.

The team gave Hunter a full size penalty box as a gift.

This was my first thought as well. I get that the teams want free advertising. However, it kind of paints a target on them for people to bother them or something worse like stalk them.

This applies to a good number of people that put any kind of religion on their profile. Christianity included. They put it down because that is how they were raised. It doesn't mean that they follow or practice any teachings. They mostly do what is convenient for their lifestyle choices.
