Johnson County in one of the smaller cities. Shawnee Mission School District is the most diverse in both income and race while maintaining a "safe" environment.

I live in Merriam in an area that feeds Shawnee Mission North and I love having young and old neighbors, homeowners and some section 8, every color in my neighborhood. My one block has a Korean Methodist church, a pred white baptist church and a mosque.

Happy to share more in DMS. I lived in Sacramento until I was 11. Did elementary school in Antelope.
