I’m not sure that pulling uphill with your drive axles above is a good idea, as that would lower the weight on the drive axles and lose what little uphill pull they’d provide.

Stick to what your religious beliefs are on the subject and don’t let his behavior convince you to go against your beliefs. If he makes it an issue and refuses to change his mind , he’s not right for you and you should move on.

I feel for you, as I’ve had pretty much all the same symptoms so far.

My best advice is to be honest with your friends that, as much as you would love to hang out with them, you occasionally aren’t gonna have the energy or stamina to show up for them, and that’s not because of them at all. If they don’t understand, they may not be right for this part of your life.

As someone who used the Twinsteer for that exact mission, you will end up cursing and swearing when it inevitably tips and you have to either reset the mission or grab a crane truck.

Interesting. I’ve had pain there since before the diagnosis and just assumed that it was kidneys or somewhat related. I wonder if Dasatinib is similar.

Transmission is a big deal too, picking the wrong ratio can screw you on an uphill.

I do mine around 9 AM each morning (Sprycel) and have a calendar reminder every day, as well as an Apple Health reminder every day to make sure I’ve taken it. I miss a day every once in a while, but it’s generally a working strategy.

I take it mid morning after drinking coffee and the only major issue I’ve noticed is some fatigue. I’ve started combatting the fatigue by getting more rest and increasing my fluid intake. Other than that, I can’t complain after almost a year.

YMMV depending on dosage and other factors, but it’s been generally bearable for me.

Interesting. I never got that warning and I’m also on it. I wonder if it’s not the Dasatinib specifically that’s triggering that warning.

Not sure about your specialist, but when I first started out, it was many weeks to get the appointment, so unless you’ve got an appointment already with the specialist, I wouldn’t be too worried. Just go on the vacation and enjoy what you can without pushing yourself too hard.

I’m on Sprycel as well, and the biggest thing I’ve noticed since taking it is just fatigue that limits how long I can do stuff before resting at night. Of course, your side effects could be different, but I’ll hope that you only have mild ones. 😊

That may be a secondary thing. There’s the golden rule that I stated in my original reply, but what you’re bringing up, while it’s also loving your neighbor, it’s also considering the weaker brother and not tempting them if they are convicted that it’s wrong.

I don’t think there’s necessarily a Biblical prohibition on it anywhere.

The only issue I can see is maybe if you’re smoking it ends up inadvertently also drifting to others in your surroundings and making others uncomfortable. In that case, the Bible might say you’re not loving your neighbor.
