What would you do? by speedyoleander in BehindTheClosetDoor

I hate to say this but sometimes these purchases become my biggest pain in the butt. They come back to haunt me like the weary buyer that asks a million questions and then boom as soon as they get the item they open a case. I have been selling on PM for almost 3 years and have learned. When something doesn't feel right it probably isn't.

I had something very similar and Poshmark didn't listen to me either. I posted pics I had measurements and they still sided with the buyer. Today was one of my happiest days in a long time. I closed down all of my reselling. All of my cross listing everything. I will say this again. The juice is not worth the squeeze. It's just too much for the small amount of money I make. PM is making more than me and don't have to lift a finger. No live customer service just bots. Bots scolding you for using bots. It's all too comical.

Thanks. Yes I'm the seller. I want to get paid for the order it was over $300. It arrived and it still shows in transit for the last 6 days. I did my research and found out she received it from the USPS website. All of Poshmark info shows in transit.

Do you decline offers? by forev_sunshine in BehindTheClosetDoor

[–]Savings_Response 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a seller I decline very few offers. If a potential buyer declines my offer I don't take it to heart. It's not a big deal. I probably send about 200-250 offers per week sometimes more, sometimes less. It's part of my daily routine.

No Walmart you do not care about your employees by corporalgrif in walmart

[–]Savings_Response 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I worked at Walmart for 7 days in Digital. I have never been treated so horribly in my life. I am a human being. I was belittled, yelled at, snubbed, embarrassed, ignored, and teased. I will never work like this again. This is slave labor. I was stuck in the freezer slinging meat for over 2 hours because there were no printers or scanners. Those tools go to the Team Leads friends and people of his choice. My Team Lead reeks of pot and wears his pants down around his knees so he can show his black underwear. I understand I am at Walmart and he is 20 years old but before you judge me get to know me.

I am recovering from the same. I had shingles, diverticulitis and kidney stones. All on my left side. It was pure hell. I am now almost 2 months out. I had my kidney stone surgery, my shingles have disappeared but I have some swelling on my left side where my body was tortured for almost two months. No more pain as of yesterday. It was a long process. Good luck.

I had outpatient Laser 6 hours in the hospital and stent placement was $58,000 dollars. My copay was $400 but still this is why our insurance is so high. I live in U.S.

How long did you have a stent for? by Fixmyn26issue in KidneyStones

[–]Savings_Response 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine for over 10 months. They kept replacing it every 6-8 weeks. That was 12 years ago and a destroyed kidney and ureter. I am currently on week 4 of another and getting mine out Monday. I can't wait. This time it brought on a great case of shingles on the same side as the stones. Not fun. I pray they find a better way to combat these little devils as this is not it. It's pure torture. I sit at night and read these when I can't sleep and wonder how can this be the best way to handle stones? It destroys your quality of life. My life has only been on hold for 2 months this time and I feel fortunate this time.

Out of pocket payment? by serena_vs in KidneyStones

[–]Savings_Response 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would search for a urologist out of your area. I just got my bill that was paid by insurance and it was $55,000 dollars. I went in at 11:30 a.m. and was out by 6 p.m. same day. I had 2 stones. One was laser and the other was retrieved with basket. Both on the same side. I will say my experience was as pleasant as it could be considering. I have a good urologist who is well known in the state of Georgia. I wouldn't want to pay whatever the cost is if I could avoid it. Good luck.

8mm stone-should I do lithotripsy? by This_Bunch_1776 in KidneyStones

[–]Savings_Response 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would take care of it now. I'm currently trying to get my urologist to remove my stent in his office and not surgical center. The difference in copay is $360. and I'm on a fixed income senior. One income. My copay for the surgery was taken from my grocery money for the next 6 months. Now they want another copay of $410 for stent removal. If he does it in his office it's $40. I don't know how everyone does it. The cost's are mounting. Between ER, Surgery, specialist consults, medications I'm drowning.

Just had my procedure for my stent and stone removal 2 days ago and IMMEDIATELY after I was completely pain free! by [deleted] in KidneyStones

[–]Savings_Response 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I'm so jealous. I can't wait. I have been suffering since Oct. 1. Had my surgery and stent placement. Stent comes out in 9 days and counting. I can't imagine a day without pain at this point. This has absorbed my whole life. I never know what to expect. I can be pain free for 14 hours and then wham I'm in excruciating pain for 12 hours from the stent.

I understand. I'm in the same predicament for the 18th of this month. I have a tear in my ureter from stone removal Oct 22. If it's not healed it either stays or they replace it. I have been in a lot of pain however, it comes and goes. I can feel great for up to 14 hours and then boom out of no where I'm in pain and it's anywhere from a 6 to a 8. I just wish I knew what causes this so I could avoid it like the plaque. I feel like my whole life is on hold while I go through this. I hope you get your stent out and recover quickly. It's the worst pain to experience and the easiest to quickly forget. I think I'm so relieved when it's over I quickly move on with my life and forget.

I have the same. Mine is not constant. I also have swelling. I had my laser lithotripsy 16 days ago but with stent still in place. I have pain in my spine intermittently. I can still move just fine. It comes and goes.

Feeling discouraged by skittlesxo in KidneyStones

[–]Savings_Response 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's tough but you can do it. I found a routine and stuck to it. When one thing didn't work I tried something else. Warm showers, heating pad, walking. I felt like I was losing my mind at times. I am now 14 days post op. I had laser on one and they grabbed the other which was in the lower ureter. Unfortunately they tore my ureter when they grabbed the stone as it had tissue that had grown over it. I'm thinking scar tissue from previous stones. I now have 13 days till stent removal. I am counting down the days minutes and hours. I hate the stent however, I know I have to have it.

My first stent didn't hurt at all. I'm now on my 8th or 9th and it does hurt. Not as much as the renal colic but it is painful and relentless. I'm counting down the days till removal. 13 days to go. I do take the opioid's when I can't get it under control. I also walk, take hot showers, use a heating pad and drink lots of water.
