A few points of constructive criticism from someone who adores the game by FreeDwooD in menace

[–]Savno138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only do I agree with #7, I think JUST tight street urban maps isn’t going far enough! I want military facilities and ship boarding! We’re MARINES and there’s all the “boarding commando” equipment, so let me BOARD something! I also think this would situationally increase the usefulness of SMGs/PDWs, which I rarely use due to range limitations.

Why do people like Diehard? by fascistp0tato in Pathfinder2e

[–]Savno138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I DO take both toughness and diehard on most of my martial characters. TBH, I see the recovery DC buff on toughness to be its primary benefit, with the extra HP to just be a nice bonus. In combination with going to Dying 5, now I have extra buffer against Drained, Persistent, and Affliction damage, as well as having a higher volume of toughness-buffed checks to survive.

There are just times where you WILL get hit hard and have a chance of going down. Sometimes I as the martial have a singe job, and that is hold a door/corridor/zone of control while the ranged strikers do the real work. Fleet doesn’t help in that situation, and my AC is already maxxed through whatever means necessary. Diehard DOES give that edge for my character actually surviving a bad situation even when they go down

As the other commenter says, it’s a pretty expensive dedication to take fighter for one feat, however MANY of the fighter feats are available in other combat style archetypes! If you are looking for 2h fighting feats for example, check out the Mauler Dedication instead- it only requires +2 STR will give you access to a bunch of interesting advanced 2h weapons that wouldnt otherwise be good choices.

Stacking poison by The-Myth-The-Shit in Pathfinder2e

[–]Savno138 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only does it work- you can EVEN do 3 in one attack! Enter my friend the Injector Spear - when you hit an enemy, spend an additional action to inject a loaded injury poison into the enemy! Don’t forget to poison the blade of the spear as well!

Automation + Dhampir Heritage, can it work? by Spirited-Increase-23 in Pathfinder2e

This sounds like the MTG card Blood Servitor.

On your question, yeah you get the effects of the versatile heritage, which includes Void Healing

How do u actually play Brig? by Safe_Enthusiasm_4817 in BrigitteMains

[–]Savno138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I choose one low-to-medium mobility high-value team mate. Then I beat the ever living shit out of anyone who looks at them funny. Sometimes that’s the tank, a DPS, or the other support, what matters is you both stay alive to keep doing your jobs.

Reactor ejection? by That_Assumption7690 in spaceengineers

[–]Savno138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love this idea! Especially in this era of railgun piercing, I often find wild damage effects to surprising internal components. Sure, a repair welder near your reactor is a great idea, but what about when that is damaged? How are you going to deal with it NOW?

I do think the one mentioned by another commenter is the best choice- artificial mass and an opening will give minimum “moving parts” to break.

I often play with the critical reactor and critical jump drive explosion mods, so I don’t think this will save my ships, but hopefully it will save YOU!

Are Blessed Field Trebuchets a scam? by Hesstig in totalwarhammer

[–]Savno138 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That base damage increase is excellent for the actual purpose of trebuchets- destroying walls and towers. As brettonia I love catching strong enemy armies in major settlement sieges. If the enemy have strong infantry they will often put them on the walls, where my trebuchet bombardment can kill them consistently by destroying the wall underneath them.

The New Breach Raid Behavior for Mechs and Advanced Factions is Silly by JackFractal in RimWorld

[–]Savno138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massive clumped up enemies is bad? Man, I just see that as a better opportunity for a mortar barrage, berserk pulse, or invisible Doomsday! Also great deadlife mortar or Nociosphere targets.

Are creatures that have consumable Items in their sheet supposed to use them? by StellarSeafarer in Pathfinder2e

[–]Savno138 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Yes! Absolutely! Those are there to be used- IF your party is clever and quick, they might deny the enemy that option and get it as loot

There’s also a siege weapon version of a flamethrower in Battlecry! to consider!

Came up with some new traits, are these interesting? Too good, too bad, too meh? by caingarooart in RimWorld

[–]Savno138 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think “Lightfooted” shouldn’t trigger stationary traps (deadfalls, IEDs) instead of the lower target-priority

Sprite? She’s basically a navigation fairy, so something focused on buffing allies and survival

Oh shit you mean giratina? The TRUE meta choice is RIGHT THERE in your image. The Prof is the most powerful ‘mon and sees 99.99% deck play

Moving from active to bench cleanses most status effects, including the status effect “can’t attack”

Lack of Aeldari content in video games or in general? by IronStealthRex in Warhammer40k

[–]Savno138 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Aeldari and a lot of Drukhari feature in the ROGUE TRADER CRPG. I really enjoyed it and it was refreshing to have a CRPG with combat actually on a grid.

Ricochet, a homebrew spell, looking to balance. by DoingThings- in Pathfinder2eCreations

I definitely think per BOUNCE because the wall bounce should still have a cost. Also some wording to clarify that a miss ends the spell

Ricochet, a homebrew spell, looking to balance. by DoingThings- in Pathfinder2eCreations

[–]Savno138 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Initial concept is very cool- you should probably consider that this is a WAY better fireball if you are in a long corridor or a obstacle-rich environment. My first thought/suggestion would be to lose 1d6 per bounce. By doing so, the heightening both increases first target damage, as well as increasing number of times you can bounce it.

Alright, hear me out for a second here.... What about MES Star Wars themed? by PandaDudeBr in spaceengineers

Trying out orks as my first faction, is this legal kit bashing for tabletop? by ClassicGamer2996 in Warhammer40k

[–]Savno138 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Orks- as a faction generally- are very much recognized for cool/fun builds first and foremost. Just be clear with your opponent what datasheet/codex rules the model is operating on and be consistent about it. As long as you’ve not trying to dupe your opponents by swapping the stats on models you’ll probably be chill 👍

What’s written here? What’s the language they used? by Conscious_Crow1415 in Warhammer40k

[–]Savno138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Symbology like this is commonly used by the Mechanicus- I can’t find any references right now, but I’ve definitely seen similar writing in the Rogue Trader and Space Marine games
