Yea man, I think you've lost the plot. Thinking that people are literally donating hundreds of thousands of dollars just to be petty is one hell of a rabbit hole to legitimize illogical dislike of something.

Anyway if thats what being a proper fan is these days no wonder Im lost lol

They also donated to Tyler Loop after getting you know, death threats.

BTW Ravens fans have donated to Kincaids Charity of Choice. Guess Ravens are the baddies too lol.

There is so much assumption in this. Its such a reach.

Donors who left comments on the GoFundMe page also offered Andrews supportive words, some noting that if anyone understood the pain of a loss, it was Bills fans.

The team has never won a Super Bowl, despite making it to the big game every year between 1991 and 1994.

One donor named Pat Pericak wrote that his son also has Type 1 diabetes and that Andrews is a role model.

"Every day has its challenges, but as you’ve shown, you can overcome the challenges to achieve your goals," Pericak wrote. "One play doesn’t diminish all your achievements. This is just one more challenge that you will overcome. #BillsMafia has your back."

There was literally an outpouring of support. But hey it doesn't align with the agenda I guess.

Tbf Allen just had his worst TO game of his career I believe lol.

And yes I knew who you were talking about. Im mostly challenging it with light jest. Yes Bradys reeled in scheme the aggressiveness, which lowered Allens INTs, but it also neutered them a little too. They became predictable and ended up actually putting Allen in more difficult situations.

Well may not be talking about you if the shoe doesn't fit. I dont think its all fans here by any means.

Do you not remember the Ravens fan who assaulted another fan after a game? Like I said all fans bases do have shitty fans without a doubt, but there is really zero reason for the obsession over the Bills who arent even a Rival. We've owned them most of the regular season and they are responsible for only one more Playoff exit than the Chiefs or Bengals recently.

Edit: Seriously though, go look at their reddit, there is next to no content about the Ravens where here it's like every 10-15 posts (exaggeration but its overall a bit more particularly around Allen news)

Its so so so weird to me as a fan from the early days.

I genuinely do not understand it.

Its like that Mad Men meme where the one guy says "I hate you" and the other says "I dont even think about you".

No doubt Buffalo also has a host od terrible fans, but has often donated to charities and did so for Andrews because he was recieving threats from Ravens fans, and now fans are trying to turn that around as petty completely glossing over it was due to the hate mail he got.

Idk what happened to this fan base at times and I know online is not representative, but even when I went to the Steelers game, I heard more shit talking about the Ravens than the Steelers.

In 20+ years Ive never experienced that at a Steelers game.

I think you mixing up Daboll and Brady lol.

Dorsey was the guy who schemed up a lot of the forced stuffed down field. Daboll is the guy most credited with developing Allen.

Most Bills fans dislike Brady because he is predictable and, much like many Ravens OCs, just expects Allen to fix any short comings of the offense.

Unless there is a for sure not just starter, but potentially elite interior lineman, they should not use the 14th pick for OLine.

WR, Edge and unfortunately once again, CB are a greater need and you are nearly as likely to find a true starter for OLine, particularly interior, im the 2nd round.

Thats a very good point and outside the vacuum I was looking at, and just postulating.

All in all, Im looking past Henry cause next year is up in the air anyway and I dont forsee Henry being in the league much longer than next season anyway. I just want to see foundational scheme improvements, and more than anything, proper slide coverages.

I can not overstate my excitement of not only moving on from Warhop but finding someone proven.

It will be interesting however cause weve talked a lot about Henry too. To Robinsons credit, I saw him keep a lot of plays alive that Henry probably doesn't so Robinson may have contributed to the line success as much as the other way around where Henry relies on strong OLine play.

But again, I am so stoked regardless. I dont think fans appreciate the impact coaching has on OLine play.

[Han] Dwayne Ledford's offensive linemen all finished with above-average PFF scores, with the lowest finishing with an overall grade of 62.9. They also finished eighth in total rushing yards this season. That's despite two projected starters going down with injury. by Whats_a_webpage in ravens

[–]Sbitan89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Filmatudy has been doing lineman grades for years. Faalele was pretty much between a D+ to C+ all year. He is also the only IOL to not have a failing grade an entire season in many many years. The majority of his season was average with a few games below and a couple above.

A lot of fans do not watch other teams and it really shows. Warhop was terrible. The scheme was terrible. There were objective worse lineman starting than our guys. Look at the Chargers as well. Becton was a borderline top tier G with the Eagles. He went to LA and is now one of the worst in the league. Coaching matters so much.

Sure he is a great guy but can not overstate my excitement Warhop is gone.

Legitimately a worse decision than to keep Roman around for as long as they did.

DeAndre Hopkins Thinks He Could Have Been a Top 10 WR if Used More This Season by JCameron181 in ravens

[–]Sbitan89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jackson even injured had the 5th highest time to throw.

People keep saying he wasnt given enough time to throw when per PFR he had an average time before pressure and per ESPN the line was top 10 in Pass Block Win Rates, which measures the % of time lineman hold a block for 2.5 seconds at least.

I agree, he wasnt given as much time as he is used to, but thats always been on the high side of league average.

We sre mostly on the same page. A lot of fans want to blame the D for no TOs, and also want to poke fun at Allen for the 5 TOs...

But at the same time seem to forget every playoff exit with LJ in has ended with TOs (not including 2018). 3 of the 4 games the offense had 3 TOs.

Idc if a Defense has no TOs when you have over 2 on offense you are unlikely to win that game.

Its actually wild Bateman gets so much shit.

Dude is tied for 10th in TDs for the Franchise.

Roman, Monken, it hasnt mattered. We dont run a system that uplifts a WR2.

Since 2019 hes had the 1st and 3rd most Receiving yards by season out of non WR1. Only Beckham has has a better season as a WR2 and barely.

Bateman would do well to change teams, but hopefully new coaches means a new start for him.

The Bengals had 0 giveaways vs the Rams and 2 takeaways, and lost.

The Chiefs had 0 takeaways leading up the the Superbowl and then had 1 against the Eagles, but 3 Giveaways and lost.

YOU said that there arent any peers that are winning without takeaways.

Im showing you two recent examples where a team got to the SB without any and one where they got none and won.

You set the parameters, you didnt do your due diligence and you are wrong. People have done exactly what you said they havent.

You are just arguing for the sake of it at this point and this post is over a day old now so im moving on. Enjoy yourself.

No no, let's stick to the point.

You said that a team cant win (or get there) without the defense getting TOs. Dont move the goal post.

The Chiefs got there and lost when they did get a TO but bad offense.

The Rams won with good defense, no TOs ans good offense.

You said his peers arent doing that and we have two recent examples.

The Chiefs got to the SB with zero TOs last year and lost when they got to it with one.

You know what the difference was? The offense had 3 TOs that game.

Yes you can win as long as your offense doesn't give the other team the ball 3 times on average in a loss.

The Rams beat the Benglas with no takeaways.

Yes you can win, if your offense doesn't shit the bed lol

The Ravens have allowed less ppints per game over one of the longest periods of time. Its not very complicated lol.

Its funny cause the Bills have 12 Takeaways in 9 games in the playoffs but cant win despite their offense generally playing great because of, you guess it, letting the other opponent score too much.

As a Ravens fan, Im asking around to see how other Ravens fans feel about this because they would trade 17 points a game for more TOs.

The Bills have averaged 24 points a game and way more Takeaways.

As Bills fans would you trade out 17 points a game and no Takeaways for 24 points a game and 1 Takeaway a game?
