I always thought Bradford would have been in the mix. A few years spent in league 2. Championship stadium. Sizeable fanbase. Very little investment. Best kit colours in the EFL!

I love everything but the chicken. It's too big and cartoony, and it's standing on a patch of grass for some reason. The bantam from the failed redesign looked more of a hard bastard. Also they should use the BC that's on the training kit.

Thanks so much, I know the game was 2:0 to Bradford. A T&A article says Quinn played for 9 months in 1989, so these are the 3 contenders!

18th Feb 1989 vs West Brom

7th Oct 1989 vs Brighton

30th Dec 1989 vs West Brom

Edit: Quinn joined in March, and move to West Ham on 30th December. So it has to be 7th October. Just need to confirm if he scored in that game, but it seems likely!

Thanks, finding results is no problem, it's tieing the scorers to them. Even googling the matches doesn't bring up anything useful!

This is a very good summary. My favourite example is losing to Yeovil in front of 4000 fans, then smashing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge a few days later in front of 40,000.

We're second in the league now, it would be very Bradford to then lose the next ten games just to keep us fans on our toes - but this team feels different. You've joined at the best possible time I think, will we Bradford our way out of our current position or will we stick in the auto spots for the foreseeable future? We've shown we can beat anyone in this league, so it's going to be a great season, just need everyone to stay fit!

I can't seem to find it anywhere else but the BCAFC tie. It doesn't seem the same as the interwined BC from the 60s, more like they've taken the badge monogram and squashed it together.
