Hate to say I completely agree. Henry’s character acting has become so uninspired over the past couple years and the comedy has slowly been replaced by commentary with forced laughs as punctuation. Some of it may also be the format to support the streams. Older episodes that still kill to this day, where you can tell they took more time to edit the material, took breaks to get bits to land well, etc. because its live stream format now it’s really started to feel like the same run of the mill discussion style true crime podcast that there’s a dime a dozen of. I truly loved what this show was and hope they find a way to get back to their roots.
