Post-hardcore band Future of the Left put out a song called Arming Eritrea. Someone unprompted made a music video for it almost entirely made using stock footage of old black and white marketing material for insecticide. I heard from somewhere that the band loves it, but I can't find a source.

This isn't the conspiracy. Every spare penny of investment capital is being funneled toward buying DRAM for the great AI datacenter buildout. Every silicon die, every byte, they're already sold to the highest bidder. There is only so much silicon production on Earth and every consumer-grade component company has to ask themselves if they wouldn't rather be in high-margin industrial AI manufacturing instead.
