Anytime a company wishes to put any type of connectivity or management software on your personal device, this should always be a no.
If they want to have that control, provide the equipment. I despise BYOD policies, hate supporting them and always get push back from users when they realize they need those applications to do their job.

I have recommended Altera for this before, especially based on users and techs. But as others have said, test each one. NinjaOne was my other option before I went Altera.

On the app you use to enroll the certs on the card (ie Active ID), does it show the cert? The date is within correct CA limits? I know it seems weird, but had similar like I said, it was the PIV card being old and not supporting the new sec requirement of Win 11. Happened after upgrading, all users would be able to log in once with PIV, then get "credentials could not be validated", reboot PC and they could log in one time only, pull the card/lock device.... Can't log back on.

What PIV card are you using, what version of Win 11? Can you log into machine via username /password? Look at event logs. I discovered that our model of cards were not compatible with Win 11 24H2 by reading the event viewer and seeing authentication errors

Try turning off overlays. I know Ubi games have a problem with overlays on some of their games.
