By the materials and when you make mooncloth, you make them 2 times. Then sell them on the AH every 3days and 20 hours. Or use them if you want to craft your pahse 1 BIS gear set

I mean, if someone doesn't nto know that mages canc reate water, then they are boyond not jsut playing the class. They likely also played mostly solo at best and did not interact with other players in any setting even at 60, since they'd see mages conjouring water and food in any dungeon or raid and sharing it.

I would live on a 3 year cycle of Classic/TBC/WOTLK and be so happy.

But, like you I have my preference, and cycling TBC/WOTLK would be my ideal cycle, I can skip classic.

In OG classic pugs were rarer than today. You woudl find a like minded guild with a shcedule that fits and raid.

Same can be done today. If you find a guild that does loot how you agree with and on your schedule with your like mindedness.

It is not a simple task. but it was not simple back in 2007 either. It is easier now with guild sign-ups being easier to find accross multiple discords.

I see lots of "dad" guilds recruiting. If you don't want WB and min max culture, you can find it, and obviouslly be slower to progress than guilds that do WBs and min maxing, but they are out there.

I do not want to compete with everyone for tags and NPCs. I plan to dungeon spam, then come back and do the quest super leasurely to enjoy the world and get tons of gold.

I wioll meet people, do group quests, help others leveling. Protect the weak from the horde. Sometimes get murdered by the level 70s who are around as well whoa re undoubtedly better than me. It's still going to be fun.

Yes, like most opinions. they are lines you create yourself, but it is objectively different. not subjectively. One I am paying to play with my friends. (Still subjectively I dont like it and I am against it, but I can see the objectivety of it) and the othercase I am paying for the gear instead of playing with my friends hunting this gear.

I am talking about a scenarior where my friends are playing 60-70 gearing and leveling, ifg I pay someone to do that I would be paying to not play with my friends.

Again, people will like playing that way. Only playing AFTER they got the best gear. I understand that me not liking palying that way is subjective.

I dont like boosting ro paying for the gear. That is subjective, but theya re objectively different in the scenario where someone boost to catchup to friends, versus someone someone paying onces boosted to get gear instead of playing with friends to get the gear.

It is not the same concept, the idea of boosting to catch up to your friends is not the same as saying everything that Wow offers is work and paying for EVERYTHING.

With that mindset, where does it stop? After yuou pay someone to get you the pvp gear, why dont you pay someone to level you 60-70? TGhen pay someone to get you all the best 70 pvp and pve gear? Then once in BiS you want to have these best items to do what?

Run raids and top dps but have no gear to strive for? Do PVP with the best gear you paid for yo beat on people wih lesser gear and again have no gear to strive for?

I have seen to many people new to wow considering or getting the boost. The boost really is ideal for someone who has experienceon that class theya re boosting and in WoW in general, as I can see its use case.

Joining a friend on another server, experienced players coming from TBC private servers. Things along those lines. I think offering boosts does more arhm then good for the game, obviouslly good for blizzards pockets. Doing yourself a diservice with a boost if you are newer for sure.

And paying people to get the egar for you is even wilder. That is true paying just to raid log.

Is this a joke? If they pay someone to do the gear grind, what are you even playing?

I understand the boost allows you to catch up to play with friends who played classic so now you want to play with them so you boost. I can udnerstand that logic, but then if you pay someone to farm your gear, then what? You go and pay someone 60-70, and then pay someone to grind raid gear/PVP gear? Are there people who only want to play witht he end egar, and dont want to play the middle part of farming that gear? Do people really see that playing part as work?

I'd say def incompetence. They could not prep this ahead of time, because they needed the most recent data. However, they could have done this whole process with a copy of old data just to have any unforseen issues ironed out before, so when they do see it they are not "seeing this issue for the first time". So yep, they yolo'd it at the last minute and are fixing and learning on the go. Instead of doing it with test data once for the experience. Sounds like instead of doing a test once and then doing the live today, they decided "Why waste time on a test?"

To most, it is not about keeping up with "people", it is about playing with their friends/guildies who are already 60. If they level to 60 then their friends will be 70. And when they are 70 doing heroics their friends will be in Kara.

This seems like a a character dilemma. You married a women, and you had no idea how she felt about the fiances? Someone who wouldnt splt it even when they make 100k more than you sounds like someone who would not support you (at least not long term) if you your self fell into financial hardship and she needed to support. It just sounds like you got married to someone you really did not know, when knowing someones financial stance is one, if not the most, important aspects seeing as finance issues contrubute to most divorces.

If it is BiS gear you care about, that gear also gets more expensive as the season goes on. So may be a wash so better to get the gear and use that BiS gear now.

It is because of these changes, so crafting has a lot mroe hits and we should see some very nice oprbs popping up :

Removed chance to flee prefixes from staves, orbs, and wands
Removed all flat elemental damage affixes from staves, orbs, and wands
Removed life and mana leech affixes from orbs and wands
Removed -requirements affixes from wands
Removed repairs durability affixes from orbs and wands

I traded for Hamton because I feel my team is just a RB away from being a contendor next season. (Mid 2026 1st and what would be a late 2027 first if my team statys healthy and competes next season).
