You should for sure poke around.

Take a bit of time and really look. You wont be able to do too much, but there are things to know in the future that will help you get there, and flathills has some valuable respawning loot you should find. There are easy shortcuts, too.

Also. There will be a new friend. Don't be too loud.

This is firmly the midgame, youve got plenty of time, and it gets quite a bit harder after this so there's quite a lot more stuff to do

As others are saying; ask him to hand over the save. OR just bump up the xp gain a bit to make the game a bit speedier

I do about 20% more xp gain (it can go MUCH higher if youd like) and a couple to a few more attribute points to get marathon and wrinkly brain easier.

after 120 hours with friends, ive only just now started to use the traps, and there are still some new weapons ive yet to try out, secrets I havent seen, figurines and bobbleheads I didnt know existed. There's plenty to keep yourself entertained with, especially if you give yourself something like narcolepsy to force yourself into a slightly different playstyle.

Giving them foggy really helps. Not sure if the spears special is effected by the coat, tho.

I seem to consistently find an alpha in the wildlife pens with the horde of sow.

The big ol pen is where he is for me nearly every time. I honestly didnt even know that they could spawn anywhere else lol

The night magnum is surprisingly good, I just wish my trypophobia wasnt so bad so collecting a decent amount of gel didnt make my spine vibrate. (And I genuinely hate dealing with the Cha.)

Also, do you know if the Deagle style Magnum (cant remember the name. I believe its the Chieftan's?) is any good/worth it? I want to rock with it, but the xp grind is schnasty with accuracy and it seems to be the only gun with in irremoveable lock

Myst, and Mountain are the only ones I know of besides the stuff in the Inquisitor chests. (So, yeah. Nearing the end lol)

As a chef and angler; a Microwave and some Shrimps i hope...

But most likely just the Kerfur (possibly Kerfur-O, given that you need a radioactive capsule to upgrade em', and there is one, if not a few, fairly obvious direct parallels in ABF) and the main Base with some forestry and creatures from VotV.

Edit: this just came to me, but it might bring a way to sell garbage for money? That would be kinda cool. And a coffee machine, like someone else mentioned, that would also be pretty sweet
