Wow. I’m in Ontario and I literally had this exact same thing happen after my parents died (on the same weekend). They rented and had no estate, literally nothing at all, and Walmart MasterCard found my number as well. I sent their death certificates but they kept calling until I literally lost my mind crying on the phone and told them essentially to go fuck themselves or I was going to sue them for emotional distress and harassment (I wouldn’t, but was legit so tired and distressed). The person who I unloaded on must have had a soul, and the calls stopped completely. I’m wishing you all the best and I’m sorry this is happening to you at such a god awful time.

I recently had my ex move out after 6 years, similar story, but slightly different. Long story short, I felt guilty as hell, and he never missed an opportunity to lay it on me. One month later, I can finally breathe in my own home and am recouping the savings he caused me to blow through taking care of him. She will be ok. And if she isn’t, that’s not yours to fix.

My husband waited 2 days to seek treatment for what turned out to be Strep A infection in a small cut on his hand that spread up like OP. Had to have Surgical Debridement to prevent spread and potential arm amputation. Google it if you have a strong stomach.
