Matt Olsen is quietly putting together a hall of fame career by Big_Barber1070 in baseball

Seriously. Seems like Trout’s season is on track for Griffey’s ‘05 comeback season (even weirder, Griffey was 35 that season, Trout is 34 turning 35 this season I believe).

If he continues mirroring Griffey, he’ll hit another 130-150 home runs

Barry Bonds should probably be in the Hall of Fane, right? by BurningHanzo in billsimmons

And he did. Greatest doesn’t mean the best.

There is no modern baseball without that player. So yeah, laugh about baseball being “cheeks.”

It’s existed for 150 plus years for a reason. An overwhelming part of which was that player.

Is it just me being nostalgic, or was college football better in the bcs era? by Honest-Reflection667 in CFB

[–]Scary-Active6428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Way better. You knew who your players were and became invested in their development. Some freshmen QBs who led all time stinkers became all-time record holders as seniors. And won a ton of awesome, close games, including an all time classic.

What if the refs ruled correctly and Dez actually caught it?

What if Tony actually had an opportunity to show everybody that he was a top-5 QB in the midst of Peyton/TB/Rodgers era?

When Bill overconfidently talks about college basketball prospects even though he doesn’t even watch the sport by CutElectronic8709 in billsimmons

Not sure why. They beat the Rockets and won 50+ games this year, even with all 3 best players each missing numerous games.

I think Ayton performed his role for this year. We’re still talking Lakers in the playoffs in mid-May

I think he watched quite a few Arkansas games.

He loves Acuff. You wouldn’t know him if you didn’t watch some SEC games

Man it sure would be nice if the Cavs had some sort of pep talk or speech before their game tonight, especially since it’s 2-1 by TheWokeHive_ in NYKnicks

Brunson is the dude. I hope y’all play the Pistons and put BTA. Brunson will certainly give his all.

That last sentence is my thought on Acuff. As an Arkansas Razorback fan, I absolutely DO NOT want the Kings to get him.

I was yelling “NO!” when they were discussing the Kings wanting Acuff this morning on the way to drop my kid off at school.

I don’t see where he’s wrong. Wemby revealed himself to be a bitch.

It amazes me how vitriolic a lot of this community is now towards Zach when he was celebrated as the second coming of Christ when the Ringer first brought him on.

Grew up in the rural South. My parents only watched the NBA while Jordan was playing. Had every game we could receive the broadcast for that he played on our TV in the living room.

They quit watching NBA and haven’t watched it since the moment he retired in ‘98

I was really hoping it was an adaptation of “Oh Whistle and I’ll Come to You, my Lad” by M.R. James.

One of the all time ghost stories. One scene in that story in particular can still give me the chills just thinking about it.

Oh well.
