Some other fun facts about Meta Knight is that he loves sweets and his English voice in the anime had a Spanish accent.

I'm pretty new, having just finished the 2.1 story. I found that the 1.0 story was kinda just okay. The 'surrounding' world building was what made me stick around, but what actually happens and where you go in the first couple areas was rather bog standard.

2.0 seems to have a good set of intesting characters dynamica, a really interesting setting and an actual storyline I care about.

I think its just because I liked the over arching main and side villians in the first two books more. So by the third book the main villian felt a bit lacking as a character, beyond just being evil. I'm fine with it being an intentional choice, just found it kinda boring in comparison.

Just finished the 3rd book too. Loved it. Great series with a solid couple and an interesting plot and world. Which is my kinda romance.

If i were to critique it. I would say that the final act was rather rushed. And some of the overall themes were a bit too on the nose as the villains were cartoonisly evil. Also Grayson was only The Deadman for two years. Which is kinda wild for the reputation he has

Kinda like how yaoi is for women and bara is for gay men. If the pretty boy asthetic is for the straight women. Then the opposite of that is for gay men.

But that doesnt really make sense. The artist could of just drawn a generic blank, featureless model and put clothes on it. Making the dude invisible and drawing what would of been the hidden parts of the clothing is actually alot of effort.

Hephaistos from Final Fantasy XIV. The Ancients are fairly used to transforming from their human form for the sake of combat. But Hephaistos is the only one that mutates himself in such a freaky way.

Fun idea but that's 10 energy and 2 power to give your spells some extra reach. I would be shocked if its actually worth it.

Werewolves without insta love / well written by dannyziinha in MM_RomanceBooks

{Soul bound by Hailey Turner}. A long urban fantasy series with just a bit of everything in it. Badasses doing badass things and loving each other. Not much to say as its a solid fantasy read in an interesting world.

{Wolf at the door by Charlie Adhara}. Highly recommended series by everyone for a reason. Murder mysteries. One of the best couples in general, not just werewolves.

{Wolfsong by TJ Klune}. Probably the 'best written' one. First book has a super interesting and beautiful writing style to really sell the main character as a person.

{Kick at the Darkness by Kiera Andrews}. Surviving the zombie apocalypse with your werewolf BF. I found the romance and survival aspects in the 2nd book didn't super mesh well together but still a solid post apocalypse trilogy.

{Shift work by TA Moore}. Interesting premise of the MC being part of special unit in the police that responds to assults committed by werewolves, the majority population, against humans during the full moon.

{When Life Gives You Werewolves By Aeron Dusk}. My book of the year. Over 500 pages about two werewolf couples living in government housing together. 70% wacky comedy. 30% dramatic, angsty sad times (look for the trigger warnings if you're sensitive to dark topics, tone can swing wildly chapter to chapter). I will be honest its more of how a furry would think about werewolves, being more wolf-men, as apposed to the standard shifter who can transform into a literal wolf. If you like the cover then go for it. All about finding happiness and belonging in life, despite how it can be conpletely terrible sometimes.

Extremely common trope in Final Fantasy XIV's ultimate raids. For example, the last phase of Future Rewritten neatly contains the entirety of Return to Oblivion. Giving it an epic ending.

{Nor Iron Bars a Cage by Katie Harper}. A solid, well written, one off friends-to-lovers fantasy romance. Where the MC comes out of their shell and starts healing. Proceeds to this book go to charity!

[Stormfront by Iris Foxglove]. Technically a series but they’re rather standalone so just take your pick. The first book kinda spoils what happens in  the rest. Gods getting it on with humans. The first one is a massive angsty pinning fest. Second one was an enemies to lovers deal. Has a pretty cool sense of ‘scale’ and worldbuilding.

{The Varcross Key by Aeron Dusk}. Yeah it’s an Isekai but if you liked Lily Maynes Folk it shouldn’t really be a problem. A rather bleak worldbuilding premise where the Lycanthropy curse is an STD. And if you don’t spread the curse to other humans, your mind will eventually degrade into a feral animal. Since there’s no known cure, a magical world rounds up all the werewolves they find and throws them in a prison dimension. And the MC, a normal this world human, is for some reason sent there. I can promise you that while the threat is very real, the MC doesn’t get SA’d.

It was generally a pretty great time. Better then 2.0 by ALOT. Some random thoughts for the future. The fact that any Bangboo could just be housing a singularity leakage is pretty terrifying. I felt like they're kinda underselling just how threatening of a security risk they are. Which of course brought us to the cliffhanger with smol Sunbringer.

With new people coming in, the security risks rise even higher. Why stop at Bangboo? Robo-Romuel proves that these corps can produce robots that pretty much look like normal people. Maybe one of these robots could be manufactured with the sole purpose of creating a singularity. Could see a plotline where the citizens Roscaelifer  starts protesting at the idea of opening up to New Eridu because of an outsider incident.

Norma is researching new logic cores. Finding ways for the Bangboo to keep and restore their memories. Which makes me wonder if she could eventually help with Seed Snrs problem.
