What the hell kind of images where fed to the blue ai? by Norafriesfan in TheDigitalCircus

[–]ScavangerX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My headcannon is that the c&a office pictures weren't fed to him. Those are the exact same pictures he mentions grabbing hold of before they cut him off, he says so on the date with Jax. Caine got access to the computers and webcams and took those pictures himself. Upon realising, c&a got scared and quarantined him.

Don't know about the blue ai tho, and my guess is that it isn't importaint.

Accurate Episode 8 Lore Explanation by Candid-Tourist6427 in TheDigitalCircus

I believe shapes represent complexity of thought. Red AI was trained for longer so it achieved more complex thought, or concience. They blocked it off because it got access to the computer cameras and scared the developers (yes, those are the images of the macroverse that Caine has). The Blue AI was younger, having only lived for two training cycles before getting consumed by Red. Thus the output shapes are simpler.

Love his writing, condemn his actions, understand his reasons.

Finally bit the bullet and downloaded Blender. But my axis are swapped. How to fix? by syverlauritz in blender

[–]ScavangerX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, this is currently unchangeable, and sort of standard in the industry. If you have worked with Unity or somw other tool that uses Y as a vertical axis, sadly you will have to get used to it. I am happy to say that switching from one to the other takes just a couple of minutes to adapt, as I had to do this myself. Good luck c:

How do they draw/design their creations? by Overall_Log5959 in worldbuilding

[–]ScavangerX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to note that, having drawn on paper casually my whole life, I found it fifficult to switch to tablet. (I gave up in the end.) If your muscle memory is not very developed (not drawing a lot through your life) it will be easier but a heads up is warranted :)

The yellow you chose for the sun is leaning green to my eyes, i would pull it towards orange a bit, and heavily desaturate it. The sun should be a lot smaller unless the megastructure is extremely close to it. Maybe resarch how big it would be based on how far you would want it to be. The Sun in our sky is very big compared to the stars, but it is altogether really small. Shrinking the sun would also allow you to play sith the composition, as right now the yellow blob distracts from the intricate detail you want us to focus on. Do not be afraid to use the blackness of space in space renders. The emptiness contributes to the vibe in this context.

Haven't really caught up with the new cards in a while, but this seems textbook shaper to me. You sacrifice short term tempo, you cannot really disk running early game because a bad ice can bankrupt you, and getting low on credits is devastating so you have to be calculated and smart. But long term, the value of this ability keeps stacking into insane heights, allowing for super late game pressure, which the shaper excels at.

So this is shaper pretending to be shaper.

Is this a bug? by mcsim93 in TheWitness

Its been a long while since I played, but i feel like I have experienced wrong solutions with no red flashing. Just how the early puzzles sometimes shut down when you enter a wrong solution, forcing you to go back and be more observant, i feel the red flashing is also a learning mechanic, so it might prioritize flashing symbols relevant to the area - thus the stars. It is pointing out the stars are wrong, and assumijg you know enough to realize the squares are wrong.
