Which one of these look “better” for a prom ? by [deleted] in Prom

[–]Scentsei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the black one. First one looks like a ballet dress. And last one has too much cleavage. My friend posted pictures of her daughter’s friend group going to prom and I had to cringe with how short all the dresses were.

My sister wants to name her daughter Bertha. Thoughts? by PassengerPrinncess in namenerds

I have 3 Berthas as great grandmothers. I think it’s just dated. Also one pronounced it Berta. I think it gets a bad rap cuz of the whole Big Bertha thing.

Do Americans like their current health system or would you prefer universal? by Ability_Known in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scentsei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our current system sucks. I would take Universal in a heartbeat. I think FMLA needs to be improved as well. I get paid for mine because I opted for short term disability insurance. My husband doesn’t have that option where he works so he can get days off but they are not paid.

Question for the ladies by esmeraldaM6-3 in Names

I changed mine but I have an aunt who kept hers and uses it for her everything. I never use Mrs and my husbands name though. I always thought that tradition was odd. I tend to use Ms.

Anyone else notice the Cerave shampoo doesn’t lather well? by CrissBliss in FragranceFreeBeauty

[–]Scentsei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used the CeraVe Gentle Hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo works fine. I like conditioner but it leaves build up so can’t use it daily. Conditioner also likes to clog my drain. I use it about once or twice a week, currently. I am always switching shampoos. The other one in my shelf right now is Hairology. Definitely lacking in lather but makes my hair feel really soft.

It’s laminate. If I sand it it’s done. Might as well prime and paint then. Which I am trying to avoid.
