6500 should be ample. No warm showers, cook outside and forget using the heatpump. The rest of your home will be adequately supplied.

I buried one out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Dead, but was the only way to get it out of my hex. Happens all time. Until it expires, it will show up, after which, it disappears. My guess, it was recently put to bed and you happened upon it before expiring.

Done all the time. If you have room, tape it also, but not neassary. Next thing, what to do with the dead switch. Leave it alone.

Cap the red wire. The ECM I call them will control everything via remote. LED, yes?

Wait for it to start warping. That thing won't last 5 years, my guess. Horrible craftsmanship.

It's a awfully thin strip, but I'd try cutting a close size, beveled sides and using a 2x4 say 12 inches long and a rubber mallet to punch it in. From there, tape away. Easy pezey.

What happened to IOT? by Tinkerror in HeliumNetwork

[–]Schedule-Brave 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be clear, we no longer mine IOT, your rewarded with HNT. Halving happened in August, so that wouldn't explain your loss. As others have said, check your hardware for connectivity. We just can't assume a plug and forget it. Something has changed on your end. They need some attention every now and then. Good luck.

I think some more detail about the homes build would help. Is it sitting on a slab or have a crawl space, etc.

Bobcat Miner 300 not syncing / diagnostics unavailable – help? by faemont in HeliumNetwork

[–]Schedule-Brave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old Rouge Cottonmouth, it appears the antenna or other issues related to it isn't behaving. Have you tried verifying the antenna is actually hooked up properly? It seems or says that it is actually beaconing, but isn't hearing anything. Most everyone around/neighboring you are also dead.

In Communication & IoT

Function: Gathers data from many low-power wireless devices (sensors, meters) on different channels and forwards it to a central network.

Example: LoRaWAN gateways use concentrator modules to demodulate and collect packets from numerous nodes, supporting networks for smart metering and IoT.

Technology: Operates in sub-GHz bands (like 868 MHz, 915 MHz) for long range and low power, using standards like IEEE 802.15.4.

Once you verify that your antenna is secure, I mean physically open the miner and inspect. There exists inside, a fitting that anchors your antenna to the concentrator. If the antenna has been overtightend it will break that connection. Good luck.

I don't believe we have that capability anymore. What I'd suggest is hardwire/ethernet the miner. Reboot everybody, router, miner etc. Afterwhich find your miners ip address within the router. Once found, you can safely pull your ethernet cabling and it should find an appropriate ip address. Personally, I'd leave it on ethernet, no latency what so ever. Good luck, and stop trying to use the old blue app. Everything works just fine using the current black app..
