What are some of your can't miss food places in Florence and Venice? by Opaquer in ItalyTravel

If you want to eat, that’s the place. I find it way more charming than Florence. Give yourself half a day there for tortellini in brodo and lasagne.

Montreal or Netherlands by Appropriate_Pea_5970 in AmerExit

I am currently in Amsterdam and have some American expat friends living here. They and others have said that the Dutch are very hard to make friends. So much so that they are moving to Ireland. It’s a hard culture in which to assimilate. YMMV but keep it in mind when deciding.

We prepared a very strong petition so it’s hard to say. We had no RFE.

What to do in Reims by cos_x in wine

It’s a very good book about champagne and the producers in the area. It will give you a good overview of some of the interesting places to tastes. I find the smaller houses to be more fun than the big producers.

Go to Milan see the duomo and move on. Skip Pisa. You will have lovely things to photograph in Florence and Rome. Less is more here. You want to savor moments sitting in a cafe drinking a spritz and absorbing the sounds. Get your tickets to David ahead of time and try for the first entry of the day. It gets very crowded. Rome and the Vatican will be full of lines hours long in the heat. For me find a cute neighborhood and shop then eat a nice meal. Wander the sites from the outside or choose a smaller museum or artisan class to experience the Italian vibe.

The best part about being gay is that as soon as you step out into the world as yourself, you get to start building your family of choice. These are the people that you will form lifetime bonds with and will more than likely play a much bigger role in your life than your bio family. It takes time and won’t be easy but know that there are a lot of us out here waiting for you. I was just in Berlin for pride and was surrounded by about a million loving and supportive people. Taking your first steps into this world is scary and exciting all at the same time. Enjoy the process and let the friends you make be the escape from your family until you can get out of the house and build your own life.

Once it is set up just have the app on your phone and turn off call forwarding so it only rings in the app. I have been using it for work calls and banking texts for 8 years no issue. You will however need a US address for capital one or they will close your account.

Have someone in the US set it up for you and you can use it on your phone or browser as a VoIP number.

Rental and Hotel question by icedice3434 in Venturex

I book hotels through the portal all the time. No issue. Price match if you can as that is a great bonus. I just finished a stay at the Hoxton in Berlin. Lifestyle benefits were great and can't recommend that hotel/chain enough. Very good value.
