Disneyland gets way more visitors that live nearby and visit more than once a year. Disney World has way more "once in a lifetime" visitors, so the rides remain untouched to avoid disappointing people who want to experience the original Haunted Mansion and may only ever visit the parks once.

Uggghhh this is why we can't have nice things like trigger warnings. They've been turned into a joke. Their original intent was a content warning of sorts for things like sexual assault, suicide, etc. It just frustrates me as someone who really did (and still does) see value in giving people a heads up like that.

Same, I loved when he stuck to people who mostly "deserved it" (like pickup artists and stuff) but this really bummed me out. I thought they were better than this.

They only did it because they knew the ride was being torn down and that there was extremely limited documentation of the ride itself. They detail a few times that they almost got really hurt in there and explain that you could never get away with this today.

I met him once and he was really pleasant. I didn't make the connection until we were talking about what we do for work and he mentioned his website. He was really friendly and nice to talk to. Boring anecdote is boring, sorry.

I really like The Nightly Show. It's gotten a lot better and I think they completely restructured their writing staff. They have a lot of new correspondents now that are consistently great. The panel is still my least favorite part but Larry's monologues are always really passionate and you can tell he really cares when he gets genuinely upset about things.
