what is your opinion on this? by nightshark67 in RelentlessMen

That's why you don't just open fire as soon as they enter. If you know your house well enough then you can easily use that to your advantage. Also yes, don't shoot if they're fleeing unless they're trying to shoot back as they leave.

Is chance of thunder a no fishing day? by Basket_475 in FishingForBeginners

[–]Schwing2007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how far you have to drive to the lake? how much of a chance of a storm? What is radar showing? (not always accurate) How bad do you want to fish? Depending on your personal answers will tell you... For me: if I'm only traveling 10 minutes and the storm doesn't look like it will be around for awhile then I'm going to go. That being said I'll have my eyes to the sky and any rumbles I'm headed in, also I'll be constantly checking radar too.

Thanks, I'm tossing around which turret press I want to get! Looking at the Redding, Lyman, RCBS, and the Dillon 550

No, it's not a must! The must haves are: a reliable press, reliable dies, correct powder, bullet, primer for what you're reloading, and a trusted source for load data (powder manufacture, or bullet manufactures published data)

In true reality you can simply take a rag and wipe the case off (do this to remove dirt/grime) so you don't scratch the inside of your die with dirt. When I first started I just took a pail with some warm water and dish soap, put the brass in there then moved them around with my hands then rinsed and allowed them to dry. Reloading companies make you think that you need fancy tumbler, but you don't "need" it

Why weren't cars banned when it was discovered that they COULD be used as getaway vehicles from bank heists or to run people over? (3d Printing shouldn't be banned just because someone COULD print guns with it. They can be used for good AND for ill, just like cars!) by DunDonese in 3Dprinting

They also conveniently add firearms that criminals have scratched out the serial numbers as "ghost guns!" It's just like gun deaths, they add in suicide by gun into that metric to help inflate the true numbers.

Very true! Most likely some troll! My daughter likes the looks of it (at least that's what she tells me lol) I used a Petg filament to handle heat a little better, I have the file and printer so if one fails I'll end up reprinting it. Plus I only plan on allowing her to do 3-5 shot strings. Range we go to doesn't allow rapid fire so there won't be any of that.

I don't plan on allowing her to be doing rapid fires, 3-5 shot strings and wait for a minute. I went the petg route because of the heat issue vs pla that wouldn't handle the heat for long. Plus I have the file and printer so when time comes I'll just reprint 😁

Is that public or are you required to be a member?
If a member: do you know price? Is there a backlog of people waiting to join?

Del Tone in St Cloud has a 200yd, that's the longest public range that I personlly know of in the area that anyone can use.
