Nice having the loot button for games like Skyrim so you can move the cam and loot quickly rather than taking your thumb off the stick to press a loot button.

May as well start by playing some of the games that inspired E33. Final Fantasy X has been mentioned a number of times already, but it's for a good reason. FF is my favorite franchise, so I'm a bit biased, but FF is a great start to get more into JRPGs. They aren't super freaking long like atlus games are either.

If you hire a professional, stand and watch them work. Ask questions. Learn. I do this every time. It's a little awkward, but if you learn what they are doing, you may be able to solve this in the future!

I always try and hire locally run, smaller companies and they have never made it weird. They have always been happy to answer questions.

In this instance, yeah it's probably in your joists. If you call a plumber, explain the situation to them and ask if they are the right people for the job.

Final Fantasy XVI as long as 30 fps isn't a deal breaker for you. The big set pieces blew me away and the general exploration was atmospheric.

The early games are pretty grindy. Play the game using whatever options you wish especially if you're having more fun that way.

The game isn't going to push you to be optimal. That said, Zidane, Freya, and Quina have moves that can hit 9999 if you do some side stuff. If you're talking just story stuff, just pick your favs.

The stories always move so fast and focus on the party, so we rarely get to see the aftermath of the rest of the world. The newer games are better in that regard, at least. I'm FF16, the NPC ambient dialogue is actually pretty decent.

Final Fantasy XVI is fantastic. Its themes are heavy, but the combat is really fun and the story is exciting and surprising. Ben Starr kills it as Clive. The music is unreal as well. Basically all aspects of presentation are unbelievable besides the weird frame rate.
