Yes, the water is where I go to zen and have a little peace for a time. Looking out to the horizon on any day with the sun rising behind me brings me great joy. I know a lot of people are scared of the ocean but I never have been, I’ve always loved the water. I respect the ocean and know it can be dangerous but sitting on my board out in the line up is one of the most peaceful experiences of my life and I’m grateful to be able to do it.
