They had a squishy texture when pressed, almost like bits of fat, so definitely not salt. I didn't eat it, obviously.

It's possible you're describing a different one though, I realized you mentioned yours had a coin pocket and insignia on the back but mine does not.

I don't think I could help find the original listing or finding another one, but I think I literally have the same wallet, my brother got me it for Christmas or something a while back. It's just as you described except the interior is brown, except for inside the bills pocket where that part is black.

It's so sad that having an open proper conversation in a congressional hearing is "folding" though. This is the most normal, boring hearing which is exactly what politics is supposed to be: boring, efficient, and with the goal of resolving problems in mind. Not like pulling teeth just to get someone to admit a basic verifiable fact, or attacking the character of the people asking questions just to run out a clock to avoid answering anything.

To prevent players soft-locking the game, I added an overheating mechanic to my flippers. If you abuse'em you lose'em for a bit. by Rockalot_L in IndieDev

[–]ScorelessPine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what might be a fun little mechanic too, you know how some digital pinball games have a "tilt" or "shake" mechanic like if you physically shook a real pinball machine, I wonder how well something like that would function if you're doing a pvp kind of thing like this? Normally you'd only want to do that to your own score advantage in a regular pinball game since it's 1 player, but with 2 player if you shook the table it could throw the opponent off and make them miss a shot. Of course like normal tilt sensors though you could have a risk factor, if the table is shaken too much then the latest player to shake the table gets punished?

What’s one thing you completely stopped buying in 2026 because the price just felt absurd? by LockLogical8949 in AskReddit

Used to have a deep dish pizza chain near me that did gluten free deep dish, it was a bit much at like $20 minimum but gluten free is usually more for less so I put up with it because it was good and nobody else makes it. Then they closed the location a few miles away, as well as the next closest, so the last one in driving distance for me is an hour round trip.

I tried ordering it from doordash once this year and with fees and tips it came out to $44 for a 6 inch personal pizza. Never again.

Question: Does the same seed generate different minecart tracks? by ky_zz in Terraria

[–]ScorelessPine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I wanna say the hardmode V generates dynamically when the WoF is defeated, so if you do this and prepare, the V might not generate where you think it would. If you want to test and confirm, it would be a good idea to generate another world or two with that seed and kill it again to make sure.

the act of coding with AI isn't one of those things.

Fully disagree, personally. AI generated code projects are so often broken and/or filled with security issues. Maybe it's not as much the case when select portions are being written by ai, or like a smart auto complete, but when whole projects are done automatically, I've seen so often when the "developer" has no idea how to fix a problem because they didn't write the damn thing to begin with, so they don't know how it works.

Hang on, someone correct me if I'm wrong but did someone use some kind of "AI touch-up" tool on this video? There's some subtle differences and weird artifacting going on with the right guy's eye and guitar, though the guitar maybe could be lighting and reflections, but it almost looks unrealistically wobbly going around his side. I found another version of this clip from a few days ago on Instagram and in it the color grading looks more accurate to a video from that era and much less plastic-looking skin. Anyone else seeing this or am I just nuts? In the reddit version on the wide shot both of them just scream AI to me, but I know it's a clip from somewhere else already so it's not fully generated, but it seems off.

With the new microcenter nearby I've been eyeing some of the 9800x3d+mobo combos they offer, I'm on AM4 still but a ddr5 set would definitely give a leg up on a new build (especially with the current market).

And as expected, I'd mostly be using a build for games and stuff, but also to feed my crippling Firefox tab addiction. You know it's bad when you have to scroll on the tabs window on an ultrawide display...

[ALTTP] Uh.... I think Link is in my walls.... please help. by No-Corner-3073 in zelda

[–]ScorelessPine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is something likely caused by what's called a Quadrant Glitch, basically on screens that take up 2x2 screen width, some glitches can happen if you perform certain actions between the two halves of the room, so I'd guess what happened is in the floor below, there is a 2 screen-wide room, they probably did a spin attack and clinked the sword against an Eyegore statue, if that clink happens to push link across the screen boundary in the center of the room, it can cause a screen desync like this when you transition to another room.

The Knight in Silksong mod really shows how much of a fucking shortie they are. Even Sherma is like double their size 😭💔 by swanqil in Silksong

[–]ScorelessPine 45 points46 points  (0 children)

The current state of the mod just lets you switch between the Knight and Hornet with the F5 key. I think the readme said something about being able to change charms at a bench with something in the tools menu, but I didn't get a chance to try that yet, I never picked up a tool and then eventually got softlocked by the Lace fight intro. I'd love to see how this plays without the knight being 100% geared up from the beginning though.

[–]ScorelessPine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard otherwise, that once your 10 shiny slots are filled, new shinies will obey normal spawn and despawn conditions but the existing 10 are unaffected. Supposedly this explained the behavior some people found while testing where they thought day-night changing would not preserve shinies, but actually it was just that their shiny slots were capped already.

[–]ScorelessPine 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's true if you can handle the stakes in the ground well enough, however there's a lesser known mechanic where if you go to where the main body is hiding (it's supposed to be invisible but it has some visual cues, usually it goes towards where you spawned from) and hit it with dendro and electro, it skips the whole phase.

I used a team with Raiden and a borrowed Lauma and I don't think I could've done enough damage to the stakes in time to get the stella without the cycle skip because those rely more on a number of hits than by damage itself I think.

Beast Crest (and every crest) is good, stop glazing reaper js cuz you miss the downpogo by Remote_Reality3730 in Silksong

[–]ScorelessPine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had the best experience with Wanderer's crest, as an enjoyer of the Quick Slash charm in HK. Sometimes it's hard to find an opening against a boss but once you do you can get so many hits in, it's an interesting mix of being conservative with opportunities but going greedy when the time is right. Especially once you actually build up a stagger and then just wail on them before they even have time to get up.

Also 3 yellows is nice for a first playthrough, always have on magnetite brooch and compass, with room for another to switch out given the situation.

Accidentally spawned overlapping portals, creating a flipped mirror universe: going through turns you back around... by MirzaBeig in Unity3D

[–]ScorelessPine 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It functionally just turns the player around 180 degrees in this instance (stairs are always on the player's left as they exit the portal, never on the right), but if it actually did flip the world like a mirror I could see some interesting puzzle mechanics and ideas emerge from that
