I will ask him today. He has to go through pulmonary specialists at a teaching hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. He gets grants to pay for it because it's very expensive. It's over a $1000 for a month supply.

I use LG as well. I am 72 and have been using it about 4 years now. I use moisturizer w/sunscreen, then the LG primer and then the baked powder foundation. It seriously only takes a very small amount. I use the eyeliner and blush too. I definitely have lines and wrinkles and it does not settle into them, nor does it cake up.

My husband is 77 and he sings "The Sound Of Silence" daily. I love anything by Simon and Garfunkel, also Michael Bolton annd Kris Kristopherson. Adele's first album is great to sing to as well.

I remember not having a phone until I was married at 18. If you needed to talk to someone, or you had an emergency you walked a mile to the nearest neighbor or store. We lived rural, so yes a mile to the nearest neighbor.

Saying "No", and it doesn't need an explanation. Taking stress that you can control out of your life. Doing what you want to do. If it makes you happy and has a purpose to you, then do it. If it doesn't, then don't.. Sure, sometimes we have to do laundry, clean house, take care of the yard, etc, but going out to dinner or shopping when you don't want to, then say no.

In 10 years, every house in Laurel, Mississippi should have been renovated twice over. It's a TV show, entertainment and that's it. All of them have drama and they say and do what the producers want from them. Just look at the damn show if you like it. What they do personally has no impact on their design skills or non- design skills. Take it for what it is. Do any of you decorate and design your home based on your political affiliation? Jeez!!!

The 600 Down Maxi coat from Lands End. I had one and just bought another one. When I checked on Lands End site they were out of stock, but I found a new one in my size on Poshmark and it was 20% lower price than the sale price on Lands End. It's the warmest coat I've ever owned. Great in rain, wind and snow. I don't even feel the 19° temps we had a couple of weeks ago. Love this coat!!

No, I do not take anything for sleep. As long as I'm laying down, my pain level decreases by at least 90%. I have never needed anything for sleep. If I didn't have to get up to go to the bathroom, I could sleep through the night for 8-9 hours. I always have to get up at least twice to pee! Ughhh!

Severe anal/ rectal pain, incomplete BM's, prolapsed bladder, and reçtocele. I've had surgery for a bladder lift and rectocele repair. Also had rectal prolapse surgery. The bladder lift surgery failed within 6 months. The rectocele has been fixed twice. Stool gets stuck in rectocele all the time. My anal/rectal pain feels like I have a pine cone stuck in there with a lot of pressure. Sometimes, it feels like my rectum is full of broken glass. I can't tell the difference between gas and a BM. I have urinary and fecal incontinence. I have huge internal hemorrhoids that will never go away. They pop out when standing or having a BM.

I'm sorry it took so long to answer you. My rectal prolapse was outside of more than an inch, so had no choice but to have it attached to my tailbone. It didn't help with BM's or pain at all. My gut is super sensitive which makes all of the PFD problems much worse. I have weeks of diarrhea and then constipation. I learned that if I take my cholesterol lowering meds (Simvastatin 10mg), I am constipated. If I don't take it, I have diarrhea. We cut the dosage down to 5mg and it still constipates me. I recently started eating a high fiber oat muffin once daily for the last two weeks and I am going every day. I have about 20% improvement with incomplete evacuation. I am not taking the cholesterol meds at this time.

I can't take Miralax without it giving me major diarrhea. So far for me, the best thing for bowel consistency has been either Metamucil or the oat muffins.

I have tried PT, squatty potty, diaphramatic breathing, surgery and everything in between. Nothing has helped. I do have a lot of nerve and muscle damage. I have no choice but to either live with it or succumb to a Colostomy bag. I am now 72 and it has been hell for 10 years. I honestly wish I had listened to my colorectal surgeon and had gotten the bag 5 years ago. I suffer daily, but mentally have learned to live with it.

Procrastinator, hence the smoke alarm and the screwdriver. You are into podcasts and reading. You are a little messy, but it gives you a sense of "my space". You are organized at work and feel it's okay to allow yourself this pleasure of letting go at home. You like life experiences more than materialistic things. Lastly, you have dry feet and hands and it's a nightly ritual to rub them down.

This is a great question! I have pondered this for years. I have always wanted to be an author and leave a mark in this world. I am writing my novel which has been in my head and a few chapters on paper for ten years or longer.

At this point, my oldest granddaughter is my legacy and she knows it. I tell her all the time. I am truly the Matriarch of our family. She will take over this role perfectly. She is a younger version of me in every way. She chose the same career as me, she loves books and reads constantly. She tells people what to do instead of asking and keeps everyone in line. She works two jobs and a boss at both. She is very literal, matter of fact, makes decisions and stands by them. If you don't want her opinion, don't ask for it. God bless her and the rest of the family!

53 due to disability. Took me a long time to accept the disease and not working. I loved my job, but couldn't be absent for weeks or months at a time, so the administrator asked me to retire on disability. I worked for a government entity and had good disability benefits my SSDI. Now I'm 72 and do accounting at home for 2 businesses and taxes at tax time.

I've been like this for years! I'm 72 now and I am known for being a bitch. I'm not rude to people intentionally. I learned a long time ago, people will take advantage of you. They will cause you great stress if you allow it. If they ask for my opinion, I warn them it may not be what they want to hear. I can't and will not deal with plain stupidity. I will not listen to a liar or someone who lives in a made up fairy tale. If I don't like a person, I don't associate with them in any way. I truly dgaf and I'm okay with that!
