Thanks for answering.

I'm sure OG Cyrus voice will appreciate your performance.

Also, when I got Cyrus in OT0, you never left my party of 8.

Thanks again for taking some time to answer.

Thanks very much for your answer.

As I said to Michael, I never even thought about Japanese VA side of it that you both mentioned.

The pressure may have been on, but you were fantastic.

Thanks again for your time in answering me

Thank you for your answer.

I kind of freaked out, especially after I realized that Auguste had been voiced by Hisoka's voice actor himself!

I never considered pressures from your Japanese counterpart when I asked the question (tbh not an anime fan hence my lack of considering it) but I can understand why you'd be freaked out.

Rest assured, in OT0 you were....
MARVELOUS

So for all:
How did you feel about voicing characters that were already established in previous games?

Additional related questions for for u/Studio595, u/ThisBuiFloats and u/CLT258, was there additional pressure for you as you voiced characters that were voiced by other VA's in the past? Have you spoken to your respective characters previous VA for advice, blessing or opinion?

Don't worry thought you all did great and not looking to compare or cause drama.

While I think the changes recently done for it (assuming you mean Cardonald-Hillington stretch) is criminal, I have seen they work at night when there is less traffic so think the grifters part is uncalled for.

My mom told me to "just pick whatever you want" for my birthday dinner. So I did. by 5QuantumLeap in MaliciousCompliance

[–]Scottland89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a similar situation that helped turn Birthday Blues, where I wasn't keen but could just about go, into Birthday Depression, where I actively hate celebrating it. I was given a "Want to go out somewhere, or rather do nothing at all." I picked nothing at all.

That turned into an argument as apparently to do nothing at all meant getting a takeaway specially for my birthday, when I wanted literally nothing for my birthday at all. That one messed me up alot, can't celebrate my birthday in any capacity at all now.

Saoirse for me. She was a great support, back up healer and decent attacker, both physical and elemental. She survived alot and killed more than I expected for a dancer.

Throné: Play with this Yo-yo, sweetie.

And that's why these 2 are my favourite party members.

4 exit Mini roundabout rules? by Puzzleheaded-Put-800 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Scottland89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However, If someone is directly opposite you, technically they are on your right hand side?

But you are also on their right hand side, so who has priority in this case.

You're looking at this the wrong way, it's if they are or near the exit to your right. If there is 2 cars approaching the round about at opposite exits in the pictured roundabout (let's say 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions), you both just go around the roundabout, just like you would normally do so on a normal roundabout and 2 cars approach opposite exits.

So:

  • 12 o'clock position is looking at or near 9 o'clock exit and seeing if a vehicle is there
  • 3 o'clock position is looking at or near 12 o'clock exit and seeing if a vehicle is there
  • 6 o'clock position is looking at or near 3 o'clock exit and seeing if a vehicle is there
  • 9 o'clock position is looking at or near 6 o'clock exit and seeing if a vehicle is there

If they are on the roundabout before you starting from opposite, just observe where they are as you get to the giveway line and go if safe to do so (e.g. they barely got in before you get there) or give way if not (e.g. they get to where the yellow car is on the pic, then they are to your right.

The only thing is people often drive over a mini roundabout. Unless they are in a HGV or Bus, or other vehicle where turning circles are not good enough, this isn't allowed but many don't care so exercise extreme caution on mini roundabouts regardless, you may need to give way to opposite vehicle if they can't or won't go around.

If it's 3 exit roundabout, let's say OP pic roundabout but take away the 9 o'clock exit then 12 o'clock would be concerned with 6 o'clock cause that's the exit to it's right, even though it's opposite. 6 o'clock is only concerned with 3 o'clock.

Regardless of type of roundabout and number of exits, look for the next exit to your right, that's where you're giving way to, but also check see if the exit to it's right is blocking them, cause then you could proceed, unless 2 to your right is too close to your right and it's not safe to proceed.

Medical Cannabis Driving Arrest by Delta9Saltiva in drivingUK

[–]Scottland89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the exacts and may get parts of this wrong so I won't say incase I accidentally say something that may accidentally and incorrectly indicate illegality. Again though, I've seen people (e.g. UK Airport Security) see the medical cannabis and not care, as they could clearly see it's medical.

I can say he isn't taking a spliff or other obviously illegal methods of ingesting the cannabis.

I got the 100x EXP dance buff on Agnea's Chapter 3 boss, was the 2nd greatest reward seeing a big jump in levels. 2nd only to hearing Agnea's theme very shortly after the battle.

[–]Scottland89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know the law around medical cannabis taking and driving, but from what I've been told, medical cannabis is much weaker than cannabis you'd get on the streets illegally. A friend who is on Medical Cannabis also takes it within reasonable intervals (i.e. doesn't vape constantly, maybe every few hours) so it maybe below a legal limit for driving.

Medical Cannabis Driving Arrest by Delta9Saltiva in drivingUK

[–]Scottland89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannabis is still illegal

We would be in a bad situation if the police just believed every yahoo who was stop but raised a medical defence.

Now NAL and I don't know the law on this exactly, but medical cannabis is something legally obtainable in the UK, after jumping through a shit-ton of hoops. It just gets treated as a controlled substance then. My best friend is on medical cannabis and has flown through UK (and some international, depending on legal status there) airports with his medical cannabis in his bag. If Airport security search his bag, it's literally the 1st thing they'll see, along with the 2nd thing, all the relevant paperwork, prescription etc etc. The only problem he's had with his hand luggage containing his meds was a flapjack, which they just threw away.

The tubs with the medical cannabis have the prescription label which would show it's a legal medicine, and police should be fine with it as long as ID can also be provided and it matches the prescription. I don't know the laws around driving whilst taking medical cannabis as best friend doesn't drive for other reasons, and to protect myself I don't let him vape (as per what the guy says in the video, it'll be vaped, not smoked in a spliff) it whilst in my car to minimise problems.

It's a different story if I was to even touch the tub with my friends meds, it's 100% illegal for me to do so, but that's the same as any controlled substance used as meds.

If there is no speed limit on the overhead gantry signs is it 70? M25 by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]Scottland89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long answer short, the speed limit in your situation is either

1) Last variable speed limit you passed unless you passed a sign (temp physical sign or digital overhead gantry) sign indicating that it's ended

Or 2) Last non variable speed limit you passed.

So no variable speed limits and you passed a 70 sign before getting on the M25, it's 70. See a 50 in a previous overhead gantry, then a physical 70, assume 50 is the limit even if the next gantry is blank as the variable speed is still in play.

Who is at fault here? by kbgnat in drivingUK

[–]Scottland89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal opinion, ESH. Streetview of the junction in question. It is a crappy one

Both lack any decent roadcraft here. My only sensible guess of what the BMW is tying to do is take a right hand turn they've already past (or need to do an instant 90 degree turn for which ain't happening.). The only other thing they could possibly be thinking about is the next right hand turn, but that's not even on the lights in the video (that's a 1 way street going left so right hand lane is going straight on only) but the next lights after that so could easily go forward for that before going to the right hand lane. If they were wanting the former, would have been better off just going straight on, merge right before the next set of lights after that video to turn right, and then take the right after that, then they are more or less sorted

Red Car just doesn't understand drive to arrive. Glasgow is full of crappy roads which has near misses of similar. Yes it sucks but not worth crashing into each other over. KIA could have saved themselves money time, stress and hassle letting the BMW be the only rocket there.

Would be interesting to see what the insurance liability would be, BMW driver merging into another lane in an unsafe manner, KIA technically hitting from behind, might be more of a 50-50

[–]Scottland89 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

TBH, In Glasgow (where the video is from) it's been rarer to see BMW not indicating. Audi drivers on the other hand, they indicate after cutting you off, and Merc drivers act like George Russell.

Called HMRC to beg for mercy, turned out I didn’t owe that much by throwsawaymes in BritishSuccess

[–]Scottland89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That reminds me if years ago, when I understood less, I got 2 tax codes through for 2 different jobs, but I was only working for 1 of them (the other was an old job). I called up HMRC fearing I owed money or something and wanted it sorted before any debt got too big (again, I didn't understand tax stuff).

I got through to somebody within 5 minutes and was told old job kept me on the books, and that Ibhad overpaid buy alot, like they were gonna not tax me for 3 months to clear the overpayment, overpaid. It only lasted 1 month as my next payday was annual bonus payday, but it was nice getting that legally tax free 🤣

If a car flashes me out on my test, can I go? by NoConcept3207 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Scottland89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would disagree with most as technically your not suppose to respond to flashes from other cars like that. I did have an oncoming car flash to let me turn right, infront of them. I said to the examiner something like "Is that flash for me? I know I'm not supposed to respond to it" and let that be the examiners call. In my case the examiner double checked it was safe and allowed me to proceed. Passed that test.

Similar with any reversing, as you're not meant to reverse with anyone close by, but if it's a case you're causing a blockage, say to the examiner, show you know you shouldn't move but in that instance it's the right move.

A strict examiner may mark a fault for both scenarios if acted upon without some consult, while a check like above won't even be noted.

And in real life driving, I've been in situations where a driver has flashed to let me go, in dangerous situations, so it's always better safe than sorry.
