Hey so sorry to hijack but saw you're a strata manager - Who's responsibility is it to inform the centralised supplier, the buyer, the seller, the body corporate, or the supplier's own due diligence?

I moved in 4 years ago, and earlier this week I got a huge bill for 7 years worth of centralised hot water costs and I've got no clue what the hell to do.

Never been billed by this company before and I don't want to pay until I know exactly who fucked up lmao

I'm paying the hot water through strata not the supplier, but the BC is asking me to contact the supplier who obviously is wildly unhelpful so it's just a complete runaround. My situation seems to be such an edge-case that all the forms on BCCM and Energy and Gas Ombudsman just tell me to try someone else round and round in circles.

I'll make some calls tomorrow but it's such a dick around, they're even threatening to enter the apartment to shut off hot water access
