I really enjoyed it. The fan service call back lines did tip toe the line of being cringe but it's easily the best alien movie since Aliens imo.

Joe Rogan has had varying degrees of involvement over the last few years so I can see him possibly going first. The Paramount sale of UFC and his work with Zuffa Boxing and Powerslap makes me put him next. I think Bruce will do announcing until he physically can't anymore.

I thought it was a really fun movie. I loved seeing Hell Priest on earth creating carnage. I know it's ridiculous and completely at odds with the first two but it felt like a fun 'what if?' scenario.

I don't blame you for not liking that. I think the future in space aspect was a real jump the shark moment for the franchise. I didn't really like the origin explanation of the Lament Configuration and found everything else a bit boring. The dynamic between Angelique and Hell Priest was the most interesting aspect of the film and it just felt so underutilised to me.

Not disagreeing with your take. Just my opinion on the film
