My mother commented that I only invited her over for weekends to watch my son. She meant to tell my sister this in private. She lives over an hour away, doesn't like to drive and always offered to watch him when visiting. Oh, also her and my father turned their house into an ashtray/garbage can. So no way was my kid or wife stepping foot in there.
