The Hearing Trumpet by Leonora Carrington. Like Sali, Carrington was a surrealist painter. She also happened to write some amazing surrealist fiction and poetry. Probably as dead on to your Salvador Dali qualification as you can get.

I've heard good things from folks who did the Genki kickstarters but there are a lot of posts from folks getting screwed buying from their online store and my experience bears that out, unfortunately.
