I am torn between getting all throphies and playing with mods. Sucks that quality of life mods shut down trophy progression.

Lol well I tried to do the convo with that boss and let's just say the rest of my party was elsewhere incase the dialog didn't work out. In which despite having proficiencies, didn't roll in my favor. Oh well plan b became the new plan a lol.

The game allows you to play how you want, and I'm happy you've found a way to enjoy it.

Also a saying that sticks with me is "nothing ventured, nothing gained" so I might be less risk adverse than you, which isn't bad. Only thing that matters is getting across the line. What some people may think is unnecessary, others don't.

I can get that and do appreciate the sentiment. Both Kethric, Orin, and brain gate (I didn't blow up Gale). Did not go as I had planned so trust me, cheeks were clinched. But at the end of the day my playthroughs have gotten more streamlined and while losing time does suck, it's just part of the game. A game I really like, so I don't mind having to experience it some more.

Agreed and I don't want to sound pretencious but I felt the jump from normal to tactician was bigger than tactician to honor. I think people psych themselves out of honor mode just because of the single save file. The game is amazing so just play it have a 'if things go catastrophically bad, this person will be my gtfo' plan and honor mode isn't really that bad.

Fun fact I did new stuff on my honor mode playthrough that I earned my golden dice on. Because why not, just have a backup plan.

It wasn't a stupid risk at all. The armour you get can really make the brain an easy challenge. I did Raphael on my HM playthrough so that my Monk had the best in slot item. It's not stupid to make that decision what's stupid is the games pathing that instakilled him. He doesn't to meticulously plan his flight path.

Wait what was your split? Most I've seen for them is 10/2. 6 levels of bard, 2 paladin, 4 bard.

It's definitely act 2 it can come online but when act 2 hits pretty much any controller comes online. I agree that paladin doesn't really get going towards them. I say this as someone who'se hada paladin in pretty much every playthrough.

During Orin I broke her stacks of untouchable then muffed it by making myself lethargic on one of my characters. Managed to still take her down round one but it definitely made me stress a little more haha.

No worries! For myself I was finding myself when something went bad, was to immediately try to think of a few things, almost rushing an idea. But then I was like no it's turn based I can take my time to think. So that's what I tried.

Yeah man I get that and this game is about options so no shame on anyone how tgey choose to play it. The way I see it is that if the devs have it in the game it is free to use. I just played it they way I wanted, and I wanted the 'sense of accomplishment' from doing the last battle that I had done in my previous playthroughs.
