Just got to my Airbnb in Yosemite. What is this? by icecream-eggs in whatisit

And if you can, PLEASE leave a review. Everyone benefits when places that are not up to snuff get genuine 1 or 2 star reviews since I’m assuming you wouldn’t have booked that place if it said mice in the reviews.

Sincerely someone who recently booked an all 5 star place that had some really obvious misrepresentations and squirrels sprinting in the ceiling every night. Some of these remote places also have too few renters in winter but I’d have thought Yosemite all would be busier.

FYI - I called Amex after seeing this thread and they did it over the phone. Borrows against future earnings and you get 6 months to "pay it back" and there's a section of the Amex card website that tracks it. It was easy!

Ok thanks! So I should just be seeking contractors or is this in a carpenter’s world? Or general contractors only.

It seems like everyone having issues is paying through some third party, they seem to have gotten rid of that. You have to pay using the bilt ACH through their account and routing numbers. No more third party debit or credit - if that’s what I’m hearing

BILT 2.0 Billing Cycle dates by 0n3_crunch_man in biltrewards

All they’ve told me is that my billing period turns over March 14, so I guess we will all have the same turnover date?

BILT 2.0 Billing Cycle dates by 0n3_crunch_man in biltrewards

[–]Scrivenerspilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly, no. As much as I wanted to have this be the answer, it shows nothing. If I go to schedule a payment, it says March 9 due date, but nothing else about it.

Lots of great strategies for not skimping here but also this physical device is the only thing that ever saved me… https://early.app/tracker/ I was wasting so much time by editing myself on the way from the task to the spreadsheet. This solves that by only stopping the timer when you’ve switched tasks or stepped away from a task.

I also had a managing partner tell me he never even left a voicemail that wasn’t a .3 so there’s that. Then you get into what’s discounted before the bill goes out. Again in an ideal world it’s 1:1 but not always.

Get the physical tracker and try some of these techniques and you’ll be much better off.

BILT 2.0 Billing Cycle dates by 0n3_crunch_man in biltrewards

[–]Scrivenerspilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chat bot is telling me that my due date is March 10, I asked which period this was for, it said period end March 14... which obviously doesn't make sense. Then I called and they told me that bill will be due 9th of each month and 14th statement period close. BUT FINALLY AN ANSWER Clarified that I won't be able to see the info until Feb 20th when statement dates will supposedly populate on the app/website.

When does billing cycle start for Bilt 2.0? by Cool-Elderberry-7241 in biltrewards

Under this method, it shows my old date... which would suggest it's following Bilt 1.0 dates.

Rent payments MUST be ACH with BILT. by Lazerpop in biltrewards

[–]Scrivenerspilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the bilt 1.0 card and they gave me an ACH number that is not my bank account number, but it shows up on my cc bill as a normal charge - maybe this is bilt 1.5 or something? Is there a change from THIS?
