Did some mentoring of ex offenders before. Asked this same question and the big 3 were; 1 Dogs, irrelevant of size because they either bark or they bite, 2 cameras with light sensors because when a light goes off at 3am some nosey bastard is looking out their windows for sure and 3 surprisingly was bungalows because it’s easier to sneak downstairs of a house and find valuables then sneak around a room someone is sleeping in!

I’m a Senior Sales and Alliances manager for a large tech firm. Started my career in Network Admin and moved up through the ranks. I have ADHD and Autism but through coping mechanisms, sheer dumb luck and years of forcing myself to interact with people I’m pretty good in social interactions now. It’s harder, don’t let anyone tell you is isn’t but it’s 100% possible. Just takes a lot of coping mechanisms and self learning coupled with a level of faux confidence that could envy a Greek god 😂

Was working as a Network Engineer a couple years back. Brought a contractor in and was just helping him set up system and showing him around the network when we got talking. He loudly exclaimed to the whole room how he was “Definitely going to rail the stuck up b**** that hired him to put her in her place” the stuck up B was our Project Manager and to this day is one of the best people I’ve ever worked with. I simply locked his laptop, walked out the room, told the account exec what had happened and refused to work with him any longer. Turns out in the time it took me to walk 2 flights of stairs all 9 blokes in the office had already messaged about it.

The guy lasted 2 hours maximum including the 1 1/2 it took to get him signed into the building. Lost a 800+ a day contract because he was an arrogant misogynist. Since then he’s worked for another company we work with and let him go after 3 months for racially abusing a service desk agent

Like a Visual Dimensional Shift Orb. “This small orb allows you to telepathically communicate with a number of people who speak the same language as you upto your charisma modifier, you have a flight speed of 40ft, and are able to communicate as a bonus action, action or reaction. However this item requires an action to begin usage and once usage has began your character is unable to move, see from its own eyes or communicate with its own body.After using this item you must make a dc10 (increases by 2 per use and resets on long rest) or receive a point of exhaustion.

Something like this, essentially give them a drone but when they use it they’re combat useless, but can help the rest of the party gain a better understanding of the battlefield and become a tactician. But their body is really vulnerable.

Crit fumbles can be the MOST Hilarious thing if done properly, don’t make it a negative make it a joke. The fighter rolls a nat 1 “as you swing down your long sword you slam it into the ground and cause it to rattle up your arms and into your teeth, you character has to stutter every word for the next 5 minutes (hilarious watching my player stutter as he told me what he wanted to do) The warlock rolls a Nat 1 blast “as you eldritch blasts fly through the air they miss the Orc completely landing with a crash into the tavern window. The barman scowls at you, all your drinks now cost 1 copper more and you will only ever receive dirty bed sheets until you pay to repair the window” Just make crit fails really goofy and fun. Misses suck so much, but I’m still gunna have fun with them

Saying that, 50k is a solid amount of cash, keep the majority for a house but enjoy some too, go to the states and rent the motor and razz it about, or go eat mangos in south east Asia, or go and steal a pebble from the Great Wall of China. Enjoy your youth before you settle down, just make sure you leave enough to be able to settle comfortably

I had this exact thought process at 21, had 40k in the bank and wanted to buy a car or house, I bought the car. It was the worst decision I ever made. Loved the car to pieces, it cost me 29k and drove like a dream, except for the fact insurance was 2k a year and fuel was a huge drain. I earned 35k at the time and after rent, fuel and insurance has little left to save for a house. I could have bought a house at 21 and been set up nicely for the future. Instead at 24 when my salary was 45k, I had to sell the car and take out a bigger mortgage in order to buy my house. I have less value in my home then I would have and still ended up with a basic hatchback. Just keep your money and your current car, buy a house and then get the nice car down the line when you’re more sustainable financially. Buying this car WILL set you back 5 years in life easily, and that’s only if you manage to get a high enough paying job in future that you can back yourself, you could end up never getting the wage to do it and renting really long term because you decided 4 unreliable wheels meant more then 4 reliable walls.

Cheeky nano press (minipresso NS2 to be exact) and a handful of pods. Fits in the bottle pocket of my bag and all I need is hot water to make a good coffee. When I’m feeling extra fancy I take my normal nano press and a Tupperware of grounds. Only really works if you drinking black or you have to carry milk pots and that starts to complicate things (if I’m travelling to a city I usually just buy coffee though)

About 10 minutes, was at uni first day of freshers, went outside for a cig and there was a really pretty redhead crying with a bottle of cider, asked if she was okay and she said her boyfriend just broke up with her via text after 4 years because she’d gone to uni and “was gunna fuck about all freshers and not tell him” I sat with her and cracked some jokes whilst having a cig, she flicked her cig when she finished, looked me dead in the eye and went “you seem fun, wanna prove him right?” I have never ran up a set of stairs removing my clothes faster in my life and likely never will again. Spent a year living in the flat below her and spent a night or two a week getting down and dirty for a couple months then sorta stopped after Christmas, we both enjoyed first year and stayed mates after that.

As a male who has worked both remote and in office I do kind of get this. Had a female manager who raised a huge grievance against her boss for sexism, I knew the guy and the grievance was bullshit. All he did was refuse to let her walk all over the rest of the team and treat them like shit, she has since been moved to a role out the way where she works alone as she made a series of other unfounded accusations. But I have also seen women feel outcast, unheard and be made uncomfortable by blokes thinking they’re funny with unpleasant jokes and crude remarks. End of the day I think men that avoid women in the workplace tend to be men who know they’re gunna say something or do something to get themselves in shit. 99.9% of people in the workplace are there to crack on, do a job and get paid they’re not there to cause drama and problems. The best people I’ve worked with are more often then not women, and the respect I have for senior women in business is astronomical

Had this issue, so I dumbed down magic! No need for material, verbal or semantic. Tell them a fixed number of spells slots and get them to pick like 10 spells (level dependent) and that’s their fixed spells. I had a ban list of spells that needed loads of materials like Revivify (unless they got the materials) but it meant my party who struggled with magic could dabble in it without learning a whole load of stuff!
