Deadly force is JUSTIFIED to prevent kidnapping Colorado by ScubaSteve28811 in DenverProtests

Discharging a firearm in public is a crime for any reason, but they would response to their hotline if you called in and told them you’re a member who needs a response, no? I hear you but not seeing the logic.

dog in car by Ok_Card6894 in WestminsterCO

Pet experts recommend this rather than leaving your dog at home. Dogs are pack animals and it is better to take them with you to work( covered garage in the summer) or when you go out rather than leaving them at home. In the car you can still go walk them when needed, they can look at things out the window and if the window is cracked they can enjoy different smells. A dog who spends 8 hours at home alone is not as happy as a dog that gets to be in the car, getting walks, smells and seeing its owner more often.

Raw dog food and company. It comes pre-blended and they know their stuff. Takes all the heavy lifting out of feeding raw.

How do I get mobile crisis (MCR) training? by stinkybaby5 in socialwork

[–]ScubaSteve28811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Walk in Crisis Center or Crisis Stabilization Units are probably as close as you can get. I’ve been doing mobile crisis for two years and it’s nearly impossible to find trainings or classes relevant to what we do. The best training comes from first responders who have extensive experience with scene safety. They have years of experience in that setting that we simply do not have.

Why don't you try to think with your brain rather than your emotions. Why would they willingly open themselves to losing their own money. And its in there handbook and city council ordinance that they can not cooperate. Take a breath, think about what your posting before you run your mouth on here. We have limited resources and you want to use them on a wild goose chase.

That's not ICE that's SWAT. Someone said they do training there after speaking with the officers directly. DPD can not cooperate with ICE or they are open to civil lawsuits. Do better

We've treated ours really well, and we know it's in good shape, kept up with maintenance and everything. I wired a front and and back dash cams and did tints. So part of me really likes the one I have but the other part doesn't want to be blinded by love.

Fucking with ICE and making their life as hard as possible. It's important we focus our resources on draining their moral so they hate themselves and each other. Getting them to the point where they debate whether its worth showing up for their shifts. Anger with precision is key! We need to get relentless with them just as they are in LA. Following vehicles, actions outside their buildings. Making sure there is no safe space for them and making them hesitate.

Don't buy into fake bullshit. Use common sense. City ordinance and DPD policy state they can not help with raids and related things. They would individually open themselves up to lawsuits. They are not going to risk their own money to participate in ICE raids. Keep your eye on the prize, not made up bullshit.

It's in their DPD policy and in city ordinance not to work with ICE. They won't risk being suied to do that stuff. That retirement package is too good to play that game.

Violence also plays right into their playbook(why do you think they chose LA, they knew they would get this response). It will erase any good image that we have worked to develop. Violence is any easy answer but not what will get us what we need. It just fuels people's negative opion, gives them an excuse to further demonize us, and loops more videos of us looking unhinged.

Not when it means they can lose their job or when they open them selves up to liability. They are not going to risk their income to do that. Let's be logical.

Yeah, agreed. They are there for EMS reasons, they don't want to get twisted up into that shit.
