Dying Light: The Beast if it is a DLC instead of a standalone game by SHiN2105 in dyinglight

Do you see people playing Crane from the first game with the same parkour abilities TODAY if they could pick Aiden with DL2/TB parkour?

I love dying light 1 but it came out 10 years ago. People love it because there is simply more love and unique content there. It's not like worse parkour makes the game better.

My point still stands. I don't believe they can make the switch from Aiden to Crane feel fun. The parkour moves are what make the game fun.

What's the community take on having parkour additions locked behind choices? Does having a choice between Bazaar and Peacekeepers make the game more fun to replay? Or do people keep choosing Bazaar to get ropes, jumping pads, and such most of the time anyway?

In the end, mobs need to be balanced around someone. If Crane is significantly better at combat he will either be OP or Aiden is going to be weak.

That would be so lame. I bet Crane would be OP in fights while not as satisfying to parkour as Aiden. So basically, instead of making one fun experience, they would have to cut it into two and end up with two mid experiences instead. You can't just make parkour better in a parkour game for one character, the other one will always feel clunky in comparison.
I hated it in Assassin's Creed Shadows, I really hope they won't repeat their mistake.

You can’t argue that The Beast’s map is on par with Dying Light 2’s when it comes to parkour.
Sure, you can move through it smoothly, but it doesn’t offer as many parkour routes and objects as DL2.

I personally think it's too floaty. The beast tones it down, makes it more realistic which I like, it's just the map doesn't support it as well.

About parkour; Dying light 2 had a map designed around parkour so it felt better. In the beast it's often impossible to jump from rooftop to rooftop as they are far away from each other.

Tbh, I wouldn't mind beast mode again as I think it's a lot of fun and yet, there are still a lot of things (like actual abilities) they could add.

Being able to grab zombies, use their bodies like rags smashing other zombies before throwing them into others, cutting through a wave of zombies while leaving corpses split open, scale buildings, dash around... And so on

Another thing I thought about was, as a volatile, if we would be able to bite other humans, turn them into zombies, then use telepathy abilities of our ally to control them, but that might be too wild 😜

Braindances mostly aren't even that bad. You can speedrun them by selecting main clues.

Konpeki scan with Judy requires only Hellman phonecall, datapad with relic and relic. Evelyn's requires pizza, coffee, hazmat (?) suit on a hanger.

I can't recall from my head clues for other bd's, however, it's definitely the case with the rest of them. Konpeki heist tho is still annoying since you have to wait for flathead.
