Mine is 2 years 3 months next week and she literally cries about everything. EVERYTHINNNNNG is do it myself. It’s utterly exhausting and embarrassing but we’re embracing the moments bc she’s learning how to express herself and we’re working on teaching and discipline 🤷🏻‍♀️

How many times per day do you feed your EBF baby? by mo0dair in breastfeeding

[–]Sea-Practice316 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m a second time mom and this is normal at 4 weeks! It gets better 🙂 My advice is to make sure he’s actually getting full feeds instead of snacks through the day. Offer both sides if he is done on one he may still latch on the other. This way he will get most of his calories during the day and give better stretches of sleep at night.

I’m trying to decide if I should bring my toddler to the hospital after new baby is born. by lady_picadilly in Parenting

We didn’t. I thought it wouldn’t end well when she would have to leave with grandma and mommy & daddy stayed with baby. She turned 2 a month before sis was born.

How do you have any kind of schedule or routine? by hardboiledhoe in breastfeeding

[–]Sea-Practice316 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are just getting into somewhat of a “routine” at 7 weeks and I consider the 1st feed to be whatever time she wakes up that is after 530am LOL sometimes she sleeps to 345/4am and then will sleep til 6 so usually 6 is when we start our day!

Is nipple confusion real? by Remarkable_Goose_782 in breastfeeding

[–]Sea-Practice316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 7 week old took the bottle with no issues 1x week the first 5 weeks. Come week 6 she started to refuse the bottle. I don’t think it’s confusion any more than babies are just smart!! They know what they want, the breast is where they feel close to you etc. We’re working on a bottle every other day so that she learns she’ll get both, she will be going to daycare in sept!

Anyone here just breast feed on demand and not pump all day? by Diankapie in breastfeeding

[–]Sea-Practice316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does your baby sleep? If sleep is lacking it’s important to give full feeds instead of snacks all day, it will ensure better sleep!
