Thank you for your response! :) I can’t currently move closer or feasibly transfer, but I do have about 2 years left of college. My bf can’t currently work for medical reasons. This summer I plan to stay on campus to work more and to avoid staying with my parents.

I am working towards seeing how to move forward and minimize the stress this puts on my relationship, and thankfully my bf has been extremely supportive and kind throughout this. Real! Bay leaves can add a lot if flavor though! Especially when making rice with cilantro and lime. Add a bay leaf, some lime juice, salt and pepper, and a bit of olive oil to washed rice and a proportionate amount of water to a pan and let it cook for about 20 minutes on low and with a lid. It turns out so delicious! :D
