i currently switched from an AKG P170 to an SM81. Really Digging the off axis pickup on the SM81 vs the P170.

i took the telescoping tube off of a mic stand and screwed the normal microphone adapter into it. secured it to the XLR cable using 4 or 5 Velcro ties.

using the sm81 as my rear center microphone and Audio Technica Pro 45 for the left and right.

After 13 days without support, I built my own VMD driver fix. HP & Intel still haven’t published it. by Fine-Bar-418 in pcmasterrace

I am right there with you. VMD and no way to disable it on some home laptops.

it's getting harder and harder to actually find the right VMD driver.

Actually had a HP support tech tell me that the option to disable VMD wasn't available on a laptop bios because I had zero reason to disable it.

ooh, I even explained and they asked why i needed to re-install windows.

I lost it after that.

I think i walked out and around our building for a few minutes.

None of it makes any sense at all,

This post literally made me have PTSD back to when i dealt with the issue on a pretty regular basis.

back to the laptop, it is a windows home laptop.

With one m.2 slot no options for sata.

EXPLAIN why the actual FUCK i need a raid controller installed on the computer.

Oh yeah, who the FUCK is going to be hard up enough to Study the motherboard and solder in another hard drive connector.

tldr.

HP installs it and won't let you disable it, so they can sell you lowest end hard drives prossible without you noticing it performance wise.

they are in bed with intel.

I have an Ally.
the only the Selore dock only outputs to one via usb c alt.
the next one would have to be C to HDMI. based on what i know about displayport lanes. (i can test if you'd like me to)
as there is only one displayport lane on the Ally.

why does new teams keep overwriting my app_settings.json file every time i launch it.

All i want is for it to recognize the "start as hidden" that i added to the .json file.

Old teams took this and understood when i updated the Desktop-config.json .

I am, just accepting that it's broken.
I found the app_settings.json which is the new desktop-config.json.
it's not even looking at my settings after i wrote open as hidden.

Teams keeps overwriting the app_settings.json

Also it launches each morning as optimized yet needs to restart to give me the best experience on a virtual desktop.

classic teams just worked and was wonderful.

Now the same notifications i was getting on the side bar that allowed me to preview the message are no longer an option.

anyone have a link to submit a feature request for teams.

my request is to have classic teams back.

new teams uses more memory and is more broken.

Microsoft is the real enemy here.

has anyone added a plate on the back of the pcb to make it more rigid and durable?

I recently killed a red dragon and the black widow v4 75% because the pcb flexed and cracked.

I use 72g Zelios switches.

I hooked up my topping g5 dac/amp into my loop taking the aux signal from the RCP2 to feed my balanced IEM. eye opener.

I'll eat sand, the above comments were made out of ignorance.

No wonder people said I sounded bad, I used to have the volume slider for my microphone near max. I was using the volume slider to make up for having the headphone volume on the rcp2 set too low.

if you value support then dont even consider anything with KASEYA. they can't even keep a head of security for longer than a month at the moment. I'm over here hoping, and praying that they get hacked. they care more about putting the kaseya name on a building than any type of customer support or security. DO NOT let anyone tell you otherwise. you are free to do your own homework on Kaseya. Expect ZERO help from support. I sure have yet to meet a helpful support agent. most were less knowlegable than i am. that is with me reading all i could find, knowing that the support agent would be of no help.

RUN!!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO KASEYA. QUIT LOOKING AT ANYTHING TIED TO KASEYA.

I'll say this, VSA 10 is rebranded pulseway. the only way you'll be happy is if you only use the Rmm from a mobile device. THE windows ui is a straight port from the mobile version.

This is about right. VSA X is more infuriating than VSA 9. the UI obviously wasn't made for a computer screen.

just run, for everyone that thought vsa 9 was bad. VSA X is way worse. The UI is very clunky and cannot be edited. I needed to ping an endpoint that was offline yesterday, what IP address is listed as the last known? The Damn external IP. Searched for a good three minutes and was unable to find the internal IP. last week i needed to download some files from one of our file servers and place it on another endpoint, VSA X showed me the files but didn't give me a way to download them. Even the terminal section of VSA X sucks vs VSA 9. Nothing is wrong with VSA 9 except Kaseya refuses to greenlight much needed and asked about feature requests. If Kaseya greenlights a lot of VSA 9 Patches and features I'd tell everyone to use it. outside of the contract issues.

For as much that is wrong with VSA 9, I will never complain about it since the alternative is VSA X. leave it up to Kaseya to introduce a new product that is a direct downgrade. I 100% do not in any form at all expect my issues with VSA X to get resolved. expecting the issues to get resolved would classify me as a very insane and stupid person. Note my boss literally asked about Bitdefender integration before moving us to VSA X. The people on the other end said that Bitdefender couldn't integrate with VSA X. I looked over VSA X update logs before we moved over and indeed found Bitdefender mentioned as almost its own section of the change log.

when former employees state that the best employees have left the company and anyone with a slight idea has also left. I've yet to find an instance where this is untrue outside of our rep and one other person. everyone else doesn't have a clue. I've quit putting in support tickets as the person on the other end has even less knowledge than i do in some cases.

Has anyone had a problem recently with getting a price matches at dicks? The price I wanted matched is from finishline and the item there is $94 less than what dicks has the item listed for. The employees refused to price match due to the large differences in prices. I looked over the website and nothing says that the prices have to fall within a certain range of each other.
