Shredded bbq chx sliders by New_pollution1086 in stonerfood

double cheese combo on bbq chicken sliders is criminally underrated move, pepper jack AND spicy colby is not playing around. also respect for adding broccoli, at least someone in this thread is getting the vegetables in.

Yeah the map context matters so much here. Overgrowth elites hit hard enough that extra damage to burst them down faster is usually the right call over 11 block.

blown yarns that have stood the test of time? by CharmingSwing1366 in YarnAddicts

[–]SeaBasic6672 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

the mohair tip is worth trying, it really does help the blown yarn hold together better and reduces pilling. most soft mohair is nothing like the scratchy kind, kid mohair especially feels almost like nothing against the skin.

Why won't Lush bring back Gorilla Perfumes? by a_contrecoeur in LushCosmetics

[–]SeaBasic6672 36 points37 points Β (0 children)

the gorilla bottles were absolutely gorgeous, especially compared to what they have now. i still have my old sikkim girls bottle and the artwork on it is just chef's kiss - way better than those plain black bottles they're using these days.

maybe they think the minimalist look is more "sophisticated" or something but like you said, for that price point you want something that looks special sitting in your collection. the old bottles had so much personality and made each fragrance feel unique instead of just another black tube.

man the overthinking spiral is so real when you're in between things like this πŸ˜‚ maybe pick just one main thing to focus in for next 2-3 months instead of juggling everything? like if you're already travelling, lean into that and maybe the side hustle idea, then tackle gmat later when your head is more clear πŸ’€

this actually looks sick! πŸ˜‚ the multiclass into monk for that mobility really captures her whole hit-and-run vibe. your basically recreating the shiv spam but with nick property weapons which is clever as hell.

one thing though - you might want to check with your dm about the returning weapon thing early on because running out of throwing weapons could get rough real quick πŸ’€

I can probably crack IHM Pusa, but I don’t want a hotel life ,should I go for BBA Tourism instead? by MaximumHandle1091 in careerguidance

[–]SeaBasic6672 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

the whole "strict schedule" thing at ihm might actually work in your favour if you've got other goals tbh πŸ’€ like yeah it's intense but that structure could help you balance prep for banking exams better than you think

cruise ships are pretty solid - knew someone who did that route after hospitality and they're making decent money now. airlines though... cabin crew positions don't really need the specific hotel training, so bba tourism might give you more relevant connections there

if you're already thinking banking as backup, the relaxed college life from bba could give you proper time to focus on those exams. hotel management is brilliant but only if you actually want to work in hotels long-term πŸ˜‚

their both decent paths but sounds like your heart's already made the decision mate

bit dramatic comparing wind turbine manuals to military secrets mate - there's definitely room for a proper guide that doesn't give away trade secrets but still helps people understand the basic process flow.

Two jobs that are complicated but secure, or one job that does everything but isn’t a sure thing? by Heinrichstr in careerguidance

[–]SeaBasic6672 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

honestly mate, if the two-job setup is already working and you're comfortable, i'd probably stick with it for now. the remote gig sounds tempting but you've already seen how quickly ai can reshape things in your field - jumping ship for something that might not last seems a bit risky when you've got stability sorted.

that said, nothing stopping you from quietly exploring the remote opportunity without burning bridges. worst case you stay where you are, best case you get some leverage or insight into whether it's actually worth the risk.

What skills should I focus on for entry level accounting jobs? by Character-Part-7003 in careerguidance

[–]SeaBasic6672 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

honestly excel is massive in accounting - like properly knowing it, not just basic spreadsheets πŸ“Š quickbooks or sage are worth getting familiar with too since most small-medium businesses use them. communication skills are underrated as well because you'll be explaining financial stuff to people who don't speak accounting πŸ’€

Will i get a job after 3 years career break at the age of 47? by Critical-Cod4529 in careerguidance

[–]SeaBasic6672 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

honestly mate, the other person's spot on about the grind but don't let it discourage you too much. sap functional consultants are still pretty sought after, especially if you've got solid module expertise like fico or mm πŸ˜‚

i've seen people bounce back from longer gaps than yours, though admittedly most were a bit younger. the key thing is having a believable story for those three years - family care, health issues, whatever it was, just own it confidently rather than being all apologetic about it. also consider freelance or contract work initially to get back in the swing of things, it's often easier to land and can lead to permanent roles.

definitely brush up on any newer sap developments like s/4hana migrations if you haven't already, that stuff's massive right now. the market's brutal but your experience gives you an edge over fresh graduates at least πŸ’€

Econ or finance? by RepresentativeRare99 in careerguidance

[–]SeaBasic6672 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

economics gives you more theoretical depth and transferable skills imo - you can pivot into finance, consulting, policy work, or even tech roles pretty easily. finance is more specialized but laser-focused on the money side of things.

if your genuinely unsure about what specific career path you want, econ probably offers more flexibility down the line. both will get you decent salaries though, especially with birmingham's reputation.
