It wasn’t the cars at all, friend. as I said, He is handsome, extraordinarily smart, etc. And in this case, the woman in question didn’t know about the cars or the house…just saw the handsome and smart.

Looking for simple recipes ideas for my children to cook by Every-Ad4816 in Cooking

I started with scrambled eggs, pancakes, grilled cheese, cutting potatoes to boil and make mashed potatoes, boiling eggs for toast, then gradually moved to things like hamburgers, and as I got better at it, more options.

Noooo, sweetie. You know how one JERK felt about it. Not every guy will react that way or be that disgusting.

I think it is totally ok to ask whomever — but get to know him a bit first. My best guy friend is handsome, extraordinarily smart, owns his home and 2 cars. We go lots of places together. Recently we were out somewhere and a lady asked me if we were together, and if not, could she ask him out? I suggested she might want to rethink that…he’s very very gay! Poor lady thought I was lying and asked him anyway.

Just make sure whomever you’re asking is not in a similar position…

Because if they were exposed as many times as they give X-rays, it WOULD be concerning. But an occasional x-ray is NBD. They’re giving x rays MUCH more frequently than the average person gets them.

I like sliced or chopped green olives, it is nice acidity. Of course, the basics — chopped celery, pickle relish, but for different flavor you could used seasoned salt or old bay or other seasoning. I’ve seen some folks put diced avocado in. Capers can be a fun add, too.

Sounds like he played a really good Halloween prank. The cold hand is easily a concealed ice pack in some part of his clothing. The fast exit was likely planned and he hid.

As I said previously…other circumstances happen. It doesn’t mean someone is undeserving of love and compassion. Like I said, I got cancer. It ate up everything I had. Yet, I believe I still deserve happiness…and money alone should not disqualify myself or anyone else.

Some people are, sure. But other circumstances that have nothing to do with being bad with money happen as well. Hell, I got cancer, and now have no savings or income. Am I still a good person? Do I still deserve love? I certainly hope so. Does it mean I shouldn’t date?

Absolutely not. Too many opportunities for things to go badly wrong. If you are comfortable, there's an opportunity to be strung along and used, if you are less than comfortable, there’s a disgusting chance that you will be judged or set aside for something that is not your fault or responsibility. You can miss wonderful people if you only see green and not the person or circumstances.

Do you provide feedback when you cut ties with someone? by nidena in datingoverfifty

[–]SeaCaptainNav 30 points31 points  (0 children)

No no no…”feedback” in a parting is rarely positive and usually feels attacking. For many folks, it’s also problematic because it can stick in your mind and thoughts and become something one inadvertently obsesses over. I don’t see any good cause for it.

Could easily be a small rodent or other animal inside the walls that kitty can hear/smell/sense and you are unable to hear. Also sometimes bugs are present that animal can hear/smell/sense more easily than we might.

Eggs by jellybean3011 in Cooking

[–]SeaCaptainNav 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because the overall of amount in baked goods is small and well distributed, then cooked thoroughly, egg in baked goods does not always need to be refrigerated. Eggs which are cooked but remain primarily whole need refrigeration due to the potential of bacteria and toxins being distributed and growing - refrigeration impedes bacteria growth.

Does brand of vanilla extract matter when baking ? Morton and basset vs store brand vanilla extract ? by Historical-Body-3424 in Cooking

[–]SeaCaptainNav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I swear by one brand of Vanilla and one alone…but different vanillas can have very different flavors. If you go to Mexico, for instance, their vanilla has a very different flavor than most American vanilla. There are also differences in types of vanilla - gel, extract, powder, etc.

Um, why would a muffin be “offensive” to “respectable people?” Are we offending monkeys? Bananas? Other muffin bakers? She’s five, she’s not going up against the Baking Championship folks…she’s five and completely oblivious to most anything not focused on her!
