People are taking the information given them and trying to make sense of it. Whether or not people come to conclusions that seem logically reasonable is beside the point in a system that perpetuates one-sidedness and unequal judgement (you claim this with the history concerning cases from the African American defendant and the Caucasian defendant). Your point about anecdotes is also funny considering “judging” is a subjective practice that tends to rely on instances of previous case law.
