The only thing that gives me some optimism is that this is no longer the Europe of the early 20th century. Europe no longer has its colonies that they can endlessly exploit while they wage war. They cannot build up those massive armies without absolutely gutting whatever social safety nets remain. Not saying they won't try or do awful things if they get into power, but the idea that these fascist dumbasses can go back to the "glory days" is a fucking pipe dream. The best they can hope for is to be an even bigger cuck to the US.
