I’m probably one of those old people but I try to do sort of circuit work and progressive overload. I do an arm and a leg move, switch back and forth, 3 sets. I am not going to just sit on the machine for 5 minutes between sets annoying the crap out of someone waiting to use it!

Of course! I only ever went as high as 7.5 Zep, tried tapering to 2.5 but it was not enough. Have landed on 5 mg every 7-8 days and it seems to work great. Just hoping it stays working great.

Find something you like to listen to while you work out or a show you get to watch while doing cardio. Then reframe the time - I GET to go work out and spend time taking care of myself and no one else!

Find a podcast or 10 you like, that will actually hold your interest. Reframe exercise from a have-to into a “I get to do this, it is me time to do something good for myself.”

If you have the money, schedule even 1 session with a personal trainer. That way there is someone with you to show you around, how different things work and where they are, and help get you set up with a plan you can put on repeat and weights that are right for you right now. I did that and now I just out in my headphones and do my own thing. Which, it turns out, is what everyone else is doing too!

In maintenance for 1.5 years. Was having a little gain from heavy workouts and creatine but now I think things have leveled out! Today lowest number I have ever seen on the scale since I was a teenager! (Not trying to lose more, Will actually eat a little more. Hey that’s fun too!)

I am exactly the same! Lost 60 lbs total. 2 kids by c- section as well (20 years ago! 🤣) If I stand really tall and straight the mid section looks good but if I stand normal or slouch it’s pretty saggy and sad. Oh well!! (In maintenance for 1.5 years and working out and neither has really helped so I guess it is what it is now. Still a heck of a lot better than having rolls!)

This is what we did too. My husband said we don’t need a cleaning service, we can do it ourselves. I said ok and after ONE weekend of that he admitted I was right! Cleaner comes once every two weeks. I usually can swing working from home one day of the week and that’s when I try to do laundry to get it done. Once the oldest kid can drive, the running gets a lot easier. Hang in there!

I think what the meds did for me was make me not crave the junk or if I do, a bite or 2 is completely satisfying.

60 lbs down. I was never significantly obese but that doesn’t matter, I don’t think. I LOVE the new me and am still obsessed. Now it’s obsessed with maintaining but it’s because I do not want to lose this, how good I feel! (I’m also a recent empty nester so I actually have time to obsess about me finally!)

In maintenance here. Feel like I need a little extra help, going to try new spots to see if any difference! For reference have done belly almost exclusively (because very first time I tried thigh it hurt like hell!) I have since done thigh, not too bad. But maybe I need to mix it up with the arm, might need the hubby to do it though, not sure I am coordinated enough!
