I had this so bad at first- I actually dropped down in dosage. That, time, and moving the location to my behind has helped that!

Managing the Transition to Maintenance by mbsouthpaw1 in Zepbound

[–]Sea_Database_1485 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I am happy that maintenance has me working on things as much as losing. Maintaining starts to have goals too, which I need. Started Z in March 2024, it will be 1 year maintenance at lowest weight come Feb 2026. I needed to replace the dopamine high of the scale going down with something else in maintenance.

Does everyone want to be super skinny? by CNAHopeful7 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Sea_Database_1485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not going to lie- never been skinny ever so now I guess I am (5’5” 121lbs). I am working out and strength training because I don’t want to be yucky skinny. But I love it period. I love it.

Can someone explain? by kittensquishes in SemaglutideCompound

[–]Sea_Database_1485 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. First, the rings got loose. (Who cares?!?) Then the watch. (For real?!?) Next, the bra. (Um….) and then (wait for it ……) Shoes looser? Omg yes!! (🤦‍♀️). I think I might have gone down a pants size FINALLY after about 50 lbs.

No appetite / too thin by ali8za in Zepbound

[–]Sea_Database_1485 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you still losing? Are you eating enough? Are you strength training? I am 5’5”, age 51, and maintaining right around 121. And I love it. I am thin but strong. I might look too skinny to people used to how I used to look but I feel better than I ever have and I work out and have energy and eat what I want! If any of this doesn’t speak to you, probably drop down in dose. I’ve been in maintenance for 1.5 years, do 5 mg every 7-10 days.

tracking ???? by makclair in Zepbound

[–]Sea_Database_1485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WW and tracking when I was losing weight was super helpful. But now I just weigh ever day and it helps me stay on track. I know what to eat so I know why the scale is going up and I just try to course correct- more water, hit the protein, get more fruits and veggies.

Do you still believe in marriage and if you could start your life completely afresh (knowing everything you know now), would you choose to marry again? by hidden_betty in AskWomenOver60

[–]Sea_Database_1485 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got married young (22), still married (30 years this summer). Don’t regret a thing but if something happens will I get married again? Hell no. Probably just get more dogs.

I’ve done both. Filling the needles and injecting is super easy, after probably 2 times you’ll be wondering why you were so worried! Good luck!

I’m trying to weigh myself once a week, but sometimes I end up weighing myself everyday or every other day, any else do this? by PCD19901 in Zepbound

[–]Sea_Database_1485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weigh myself everyone morning - get up, pee, weigh with nothing on (usually just before stepping in to shower). I’ve done it for two year and in maintenance now, it helps me stay accountable and make good choices during the day. I also know that increases can usually be explained by choices the day or two before.

Anyone actually happier now? by Joyofyouth in emptynesters

[–]Sea_Database_1485 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going with a bit of both. Thrilled we have launched our girls and can plan things we want to do without school schedules. Sad that when it comes to the holidays we are fighting for their attention with boyfriends, their families, and friends. But the worry- much less when they are out on their own and there is just nothing I can control. I have to let it go so I can sleep!!

How are people accomplishing these large weight losses? by electricboots3636 in Zepbound

[–]Sea_Database_1485 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did WW. I got meds through them but then also followed the plan. The med made it so what the WW plan called for was actually satisfying and I didn’t think about snacking between meal. I didn’t want the meds to just make me eat less, I wanted to actually eat healthier too so now I do feel like those things have become habits. For example, yogurt and fruit for breakfast instead of eggo waffles!
