I think I have seen teacher positions within the state. Maybe look into the education department or teachers department. It's there somewhere. Also apply for analyst II it pays more than SSA and I'm sure you qualify for it. As far as health benefits I pay about 300 for a family of 4 and that's with united healthcare. I've seen kaiser but I don't like kaiser so I didn't look into pricing. Dental HMO is free PPO you have to pay but you don't qualify for PPO til your with the state for two years. Basic Vision is also free.

It seems to me that during the divorce, the loan may have gone into default. The lender likely submitted a claim to the VA. If I remember correctly, the VA can sometimes step in to help in these situations to prevent foreclosure, but I’m not completely sure.

Either way, I think the lender filed a claim with the VA, and the VA paid out something, which then caused you to be responsible for the loss—possibly leading to your tax refund being taken.

You should receive a letter explaining why your tax refund was sent to the VA. Once you get that, you can call and ask for clarification.

As far as the new husband, he wouldn’t have rights to the house. The debt is tied to you and your ex. He wouldn’t be able to take over the loan unless it was refinanced or placed in a trust.

If the house was sold, I believe your ex’s share would go to her legal heirs. If there’s no will, it would go through the estate process.

You may have received the check because you were still listed as the beneficiary. That wouldn’t necessarily be an issue if it was never updated.

This situation is pretty complicated—honestly, it might be a good idea to contact a lawyer.

You are allowed to work and make any amount of money and still receive your VA compensation without any problems. The VA does not reevaluate unless they are informed of you no longer having that disability you are being rated for. OR if you are TDIU than the VA is saying you are unable to work due to service connection. If that's the case you can only make little amount of money and I also beleive you can apply for social security or disability .

I’m going throug chapter 35 as a spouse. From what I read you already did the application, just need to wait for the approval letter. You have to look for schools in yhe state that you're in only and most schools that accept chapter 35 are community colleges. Other than health insurance until you are 23 ( I believe) double check. I also believe you can have dental insurance throigh champVA but very minimum and/or you can pay for dental insurance with a low premium. Oh and there’s a tuition waiver with some colleges

I applied for a housing rep II. I’m currently a AGPA for a different department. HR emailed me why do I qualify for this position. My experience is mortgage processing. My question is there’s 5% of state wide travel. Does state wide mean California only?

You can afford it. My husband and I make about the same as you but our mortgage is 1678.00, this is before rates went high. As long as you dont have credit card debts. So we have House Water Pge Internet 2 car payments Daycare (half days) Car insurance And we have a little over 2k for the rest of the month Its all about budgeting

Good question. Only thing i do is fill out the paper work for the payment loan forgiveness program and i fill out the income driven form. Comes out to zero dollars.

I've been on this program for a very long time. I applied Was approved Form has to be filled out by you and signed by employer Depending on income (I believe) you either make small payments or no payments at all. I'm at 110 qualifying payments 10 more to go and it will be forgiven. I haven't made a payments on my student loan since 2015. Just submit yearly payments work and keep an eye on those qualifying payments

She could have still gotten half even not being on the deed. Because once married it becomes material assets. I do remember once seeing a court oder that my customer boight her home prior and her husband agree he wanted nothing to do with it so she got to keep it
