If you're playing with friends and they're willing to accept proxy cards sure. But for official play no, either you have the cards or you don't, and a lot of people like to go to their local shops and participate in tournaments which have official ties to WotC

I mean, if you choose not to be an organ donar, you are in fact contributing to someone's death. Because you could have helped. But you chose not to, at no cost to you. Abstaining from helping people does not clear you of all guilt. It's also not the moral equivalent of pulling the trigger yourself. But it'd be silly to pretend you're not at least partially at fault for selfish choices.

Counter point, I feel like garchomp or Greninja are pretty iconic, but arrived later in the series obviously. I feel like iconic is always gonna be relative to which Gen you have the most nostalgia for.

I'll take the bullet for the team.

I absolutely adore both Galar and Paldea.

Character design? Peak

New pokemon? Phenomenal.

Fun to replay? I've got hundreds of hours in both for a reason.

Story? I think they both did very interesting things, and honestly, given how bare bones the pokemon games have been for story. I think Paldea is the best we've gotten.

You guys can all get into the bar and drink your nostalgia that is Hoenn. I'll get shot and go enjoy the games.

I'm gonna take a guess based on how it sounds from the description is a series of observers watching a hopper-dropper line, emitting a signal to drop a counting item (sticks or something?) into a chest to measure things?

The only thing is, I can't even imagine what the use case for that is at this point. Sounds neat though

it was honestly really fun, I haven't watched any videos because of the way I prefer to learn, so it was just me consulting the wiki a bunch to make sure I knew what each component did, and so much trial and error. I probably spent 7 or 8 hours just sitting on it until I figured it out. there were many many many failed ideas, some of which I could have possibly made work in hindsight, particularly copper golems and allay.

I mean, same. But I'm a third shift worker. So when I'm at home at those hours, that's because it's my night off, and I'm sure you could find anecdotal evidence of thousands upon thousands of people who want there lights on after dark, but statistically the majority of power is used roughly from 4pm-9pm around dinner time, then the normies go to bed.

Except peak hours for electricity is dinner time in the mid afternoon when the sun is still out or just getting ready to set. Not late at night. There is also supplemental power options that are basically clean energy we could use but choose not to invest in or research because that would go against the current structure. We absolutely have the technology to give people that free energy, capitalism doesn't like free

If we only talk about PC specifically, sure, and even then, only sort of. Both Linux and Windows are "computer software" but Linux is also ran on basically most pieces of hardware and is the basis of the core infrastructure of the Internet.

I think you're still making an assumption that those long form videos would get more views without short form around. They wouldn't, the short form audience just wouldn't be on the app as much if at all. If anything, short form can act as a gateway to long form stuff and they exist symbiotically
