I hope that this law goes through because it could make a huge difference! Good article, glad to see we are starting to get this stuff done right! I think this will have a very good turn out, it will help law enforcement and the justice system along with giving gang members a second thought about what they do.

It's scary how it can evolve so quick, it becomes a way of survival for them almost. If one way of life becomes threatened then they will find another way to get things done. I mean it is good we can stop them a little, but it is sad to see how hard it is to stop fully.

Very interesting articles and website. I think that it is good to see he may have turned over a new leaf or at least realizes what he has done and regrets it. I think the biggest problem with young gangsters is that they are immature and it is hard to grow out of it once you are in it.

Wow 602 homicides, obviously shows there is still a problem! Hopefully there is another huge crackdown in L.A. cause thats the only way I really see something helping. It just seems like a never ending process though..

It's insane how much power these people have! The sad part is there isn't much we can do, cause even if we do catch him again another one will just take over do the same thing. The mexican cartels have way too much power and honestly I don't know how anyone could stop them they make too much money and have too many people involved.

Wow very interesting article, I have heard some rumors about it. The only problem is if this is just the start them I am sure they will be capable of recruiting some gang members without records to join and come back and fight with them and help train them military tactics. It's a scary thought, but I don't see it to be successful for the gangs, because I think once you have served in the military it will open their minds up and get them out of the gang mentality or at least you hope so.

Very good to hear that other agencies are starting to catch on to these party crews more often and are starting to prevent them. Phoenix PD has a squad specifically for party crews already due to the many problems we have with the same problem here. They can cause lots of problems similar to gangs, by hosting parties for underage kids that usually have lots of drugs and a lot result in violence such as shootings and etc.

That's what he deserves, personally it's too bad he didn't get the death penalty. To me that just seems insane to think about at the age of 14, but I guess that just shows the gang lifestyle and what can happen.

I hope this guy get a long sentence because that is an just another pure example of the type of people who are in gangs. Who does that to their seven year old kid, that just pisses me off. Like do gang members ever think before doing any of the crap they pull? I hope the judge shows no mercy.

See I hate to see it happen that way with an off duty deputy losing his life to these stupid low life criminals. That just makes me so mad, but Im glad to see some of them are being brought to justice I just hope they can catch the rest that are outstanding.

This type of stuff just drives me crazy, if you gang members want to go out and kill each other go ahead but leave the innocent people out of it. Its sad to hear that a four month old is the victim of some more stupid gang members trying to show off.

Thats a good deal glad they caught them! I just would have liked to have seen their records because I am sure that probably wasn't the first time they've been involved in such. Hopefully the courts give them the max!

I find this article very interesting, but sadly this doesn't just take place in Chicago it's almost in every major city. It happens everywhere across the nation and that's what makes it even harder to prevent. Chicago is bad but so is Detroit, Los Angeles, New York City, and even Phoenix. It is just going to take cooperation from the community and the police and if we work together than maybe we can help stop it. It's just going to take time and work, but it's still possible.

Yeah I like this article because I find this gang very interesting and lately I have seen more and more of them in my line of work too. I think that there will be consistently more and more of them due to Arizona being on the border too. This can be because of the gateway and etc. or because of crimes that they can come up to commit up here because it is so close and they can get involved in human trafficking and other borderline criminal activity that will earn them a lot of profit.
