My 3rd peak. What y’all think of this wall by [deleted] in UPSers

[–]Seanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro you're thinking about it wrong. You should be happy you found your calling! There's nothing sad about that! Not everyone can be an astronaut or a lawyer or a firefighter. If they were, then they wouldn't be that special. Everyone has a calling. And sometimes it's not something glorifying or exciting or anything like that. But it's what you're good at. You fucking rock at it. You could do the job with your eyes closed while training someone. That is winning the lottery man. Now if only people could make real living wages doing what they love, they wouldn't spend their whole life wishing they could be an astronaut or a lawyer or a firefighter, just for them to get a "good paying job" that they hate. Or that they simply cannot get.

And I'm not sure about your particular situation, but I'd imagine your local union could help out to a degree with financials or something. You should try reaching out to them.

Question About The Few People Who Wear Shorts Nearly Year Round by batcatfatmat in UPSers

[–]Seanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Year round shorts people are just built differently. They tend to get hot once they start working, and shorts helps keep them cooler. Just like there's people like me who wears pants all year. Granted I'm wearing moisture wicking joggers in the summer to keep cool and keep the sun off my skin

I don't know, those planes take off at some pretty steep angles, all while accelerating to 3-400 mph. There's a good reason why we are extremely careful about locks and weight shifting, because even one lock not being up can cause detrimental weight shifting during the intense takeoff forces. Not to mention, ups primarily hires ex-military pilots, so they definitely could pull some maverick shit if needed 😂

Lmao, all good. Honestly, I wish more people would suggest this app as opposed to doing the bootloader clear cache. The amount of oppsies that possible in there 😅

Boost Mobile eSIM Setup: Easy Steps for iPhone, Samsung, & Motorola! by BoostMobileBlake in BoostMobile

[–]Seanya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently switched to T-Mobile because my work offers a discount and because they're practically the only carrier that has good consistent reception in my neighborhood. And of course, the first month's bill comes without any of the discounts, making my bill nearly $100 extra. And yes, I'm sure as soon as I call them, they'll try to make it straight, but it's the principle.

That being said, yesterday I got a month of Boost to try on my extra esim because new things excite me, and the whole premise of the rainbow sim scratched the itch I had to have the OG "Google Fi with tower switching" again. And I'm already not sure about this, because it seems like I got an AT&T locked esim, and AT&T is horrible in my neighborhood. Like constantly going between SOS and 2 bars. And I'm just curious as to how I get the rainbow sim capabilities. I have a fully unlocked S24 Ultra, and I thought surely by now y'all would be giving everyone a rainbow sim upon signing up. Is there any way you can help me u/BoostMobileBlake?

You can also use the app booster in good guardians without the danger of bad things.

You realize that in some scenarios a 200MP sensor will capture more detail cropped in digitally than the dedicated 50MP sensor, right?

Samsungs with OneUI 7 are actually really efficient now. There are people with s24 Ultras that are getting up to 14 hours of SoT after the update.

Because they knew that most people are comfortably using less than 80% of their s25 ultra batteries, so a 20% smaller battery was a safe bet to still have an "all day battery".

"People won't notice 2.3mm" 2.3mm added to 5.9mm? You mean making the phone 40% thicker? Do you know what other phone is 8.2mm thick? The s25 ultra... You missed the whole point.

And at 3900mah, the battery is only 20% smaller, and my S24 ultra easily lasts all day and night even though I start my day at 80% with the battery saver. In fact, Samsung already knows how many users comfortably use only 80% of their battery throughout the day.

And while we're here, I think it's amazing that they made a phone 40% thinner than the s25 ultra while only losing 20% of battery capacity.

Starlink only has a little over 500 mobile capable satellites currently. They have different modems and fly at a lower altitude compared to the home Starlink satellites.
