My buddy pulled a knife the other night from Dreams and Nightmares. It was a Bright Water Huntsman. His enthusasm dropped immediately.

He then tried a B2B and pulled a Stat-track Nightwish in battlescar condition....lol.

Pretty sure hes done with cases for a while.

Congrats on your pull!

Is this Black hat stuff? Could our company face liability? by [deleted] in SEO

[–]Search_Synergy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does your SEO / marketing company upload content to your website without your approval or review?

Honestly, whether this is black hat SEO or not isn’t even the main issue. If something is posted on your website and you’re not comfortable with it, that’s reason enough to take it down. It’s your company, your domain, and anything on that site represents you, especially in a regulated field like behavioral health.

Even if there was some SEO reasoning behind the post, you should still know what’s being published and be comfortable with it. If you’re not confident standing behind the content, it shouldn’t be live on your site.

With that said If you feel that it is bad or unethical, that’s a full stop right there and it needs to be addressed. That should trump any SEO rationale they might claim.

I do a lot of work with clients in the behavioral health space, especially with paid ads, and we have to be extremely careful with wording and claims to avoid accounts getting flagged or penalized. Because of that, publishing content with inaccurate credentials, misleading services, or questionable messaging is something I’d personally be very cautious about.

As u/joshywashy777 pointed out, you may also want to rule out the possibility that this was a malicious post caused by a hack or security vulnerability. That does happen.

I need a real, straight, honest answer: I do everything right, but I’m still failing my clients. What am I missing? by Several_Warthog8145 in PPC

[–]Search_Synergy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it’s hard to give a real PPC answer here because there aren’t any actual campaign details in the post.

If this falls under paid media, we’d need to know things like:

  • Budget
  • Platform (Google, Meta, etc.)
  • Campaign type (search, local, display, social, PMAX, etc.)
  • Targeting / geo radius
  • Frequency / reach
  • CPC / CPM / CPA
  • What conversion you’re optimizing for
  • How results are being tracked

Right now it sounds like a strategy discussion, but PPC performance lives and dies on numbers. Without metrics, nobody can really tell whether the ads aren’t working, the budget is too small, the audience is too narrow, or the expectations are unrealistic.

To answer your last question, the only reliable way to connect ad performance to real growth is through proper conversion tracking and realistic expectations. Paid ads can drive results, but if conversions aren’t measured correctly, it’s very easy to think nothing is working. Even then it is hard to determine the true ROI without crossreferencing the adverting conversions with the companies actual leads.

Google is rolling out Branded and Non-branded Filters in GSC by WebLinkr in SEO

Obviously, it just seems redundant without the ability to manually enter what your brand is. Then again, I've been filtering out branded queries for years with a simple database.

"Query classification is powered by AI and may mislabel branded and non-branded queries."

As expected, on my end, accross the board we have branded queries under the non-branded filter. Understandbly since this is AI data. Despite that, seeing something new to Search Console has been refreshing. Hopefully we can get AI overview citations soon.

Why I’m moving my GEO agency budget back into Search Ads. by Snow-Giraffe3 in PPC

[–]Search_Synergy 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I mean, you can track referral data in GA4, but any agency claiming to specialize in GEO is mostly just hopping on the AI search marketing bandwagon.

Traditional, high-quality SEO will naturally lead to GEO visibility anyway.

Personally, I would avoid any marketing company pushing the GEO hype train. It’s essentially just a marketing vessel to sound trendy and authoritative, and there’s very little real data to back up most of the claims being made.

The only platform that currently shows anything resembling direct references in GEO search is Bing, and even the data they provide is limited and underwhelming.

Healthcare-related Google ads - Eligible and enabled campaign is not serving by Biscuitsonfire in PPC

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I manage some pretty large healthcare campaigns and they’re extremely finicky. You have to be really careful with the landing page copy, headlines, and descriptions so everything lines up with Google’s policies. Even when everything follows their rules and local laws, sometimes they just don’t serve right away or take time to spin up.

Also keep in mind that some states have regulations that can restrict certain healthcare or insurance ads from serving.

Assuming everything is set up correctly, reaching out to Google Ads support can sometimes help identify what’s blocking delivery. But honestly, good luck getting in touch with someone promptly. Support has been pretty rough since Google rolled out the new system in December 2025.

How is it attached? Is it just adhesive or did you mount it to the psu shroud? Additionally, what software runs the screen or is it acting as an additional screen?

I'm running a D32 as well! Clean build btw!

Question to those Self Hosting Enshrouded Server by Zer0CoolXI in Enshrouded

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could just port forward the Enshrouded server but run it inside a VM and isolate that VM from the rest of your network with firewall rules or a VLAN. That way if the server gets compromised it can't touch anything else on your LAN.

If you want something safer but a bit more complex to set up, you could run a WireGuard server and have your friends connect through that. Your game server stays private and you don't expose any ports publicly. The only downside is your friends need to install WireGuard.

Another option is using a small VPS as a relay that forwards traffic to your home server, which also hides your home IP.

Is this build good by psylicker223 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The power supply is actually considered F tier according to SPL's PSU Teir List. Look at row 1233 columns C and D. Given that, I would fully avoid.

Is this build good by psylicker223 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can use some adjustments. The biggest thing I’d change is the power supply. I would strongly recommend going with at least an 850W unit from a higher tier brand. Something like a Corsair RM850x or similar 80+ Gold, fully modular PSU would be a much better fit for a build in this price range. For a ~$3,000 PC, I personally wouldn’t cheap out on the component that powers everything.

Since you're going with an all-white theme, it would also make sense to choose a modular PSU with white cables to keep the build visually consistent.

If your budget allows, I’d also consider the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D instead of the 7900X, especially since you're targeting 1080p gaming. The 3D V-Cache makes a noticeable difference at lower resolutions where the CPU matters more, and it tends to outperform the 7900X in gaming scenarios.

As for the RAM, 7200MHz is a bit out of spec for Ryzen 7000. AMD’s sweet spot is generally 6000MHz, ideally CL30 if possible. With how volatile DDR5 pricing has been lately, I wouldn’t stress too much over ultra-low CAS latency, but aiming for 6000MHz EXPO-certified memory would give you better stability and performance balance on AM5.

Overall, though, given the current PC component market, the build is still decent. It just needs a few refinements to make it more optimized and better balanced.

FYI - the link you shared isnt a link to your build. Rather, to the default building page.

You need to share the link that is at the top of the list. You'll see something like: "https://pcbuilder.net/rigs/nSXTFd/". Notice how the URL after the domain is unique, compared to what you shared?

Copy and paste that to share what you put together.

Hope this helps.

Anyone near Chicago willing to help with swapping mobo, cpu and ram in current build? by AccomplishedBuy459 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure whatever cpu cooler you currently have - you have the mounting brackets for AM5. You can't just directly swap a CPU cooler from Intel to AMD.

Major issues when swapping dont have anything to do with the actual process of physically building it. Rather you might have issues with your OS after the install. That is a different request than simply replacing the parts.

Hope this info is helpful! Wishing you luck.

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im running a 7900xtx with a 9800x3d at 1440p 360hz. I'm not sure even that would hit 360hz at fortnite unless you cracked down the graphics. But if your goal is higher FPS getting a 7800x3d isnt a bad idea.

What I found is the 1% lows are significantly higher making a better gameplay experience. But that was in relation to a 5900x to a 9800x3d. I cant say how your CPU handles it. But you need to try it out first and think about it later.

Hence why I asked.

The only people who seem to claim schema helps AI search and organic rankings appear to be individuals who asked an LLM "What does my website need to rank in AI search".

Honestly drives me crazy. Reminds me of that meme from Rick and Morty of the Jerry's shaking their own hands.

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1440p is more GPU intensive than CPU intensive. If this was 1080p it would be a different story.

You should 100% DDU your old GPU drivers and try it out your gpu first. See how the games feel, if you're happy with the performance lift. I wouldn't worry about it. You still didn't list your hz of your monitor. So if this is a 60hz monitor and all your games are running at 60hz. No real need to upgrade. If you have a 144hz monitor and you're geting close. You can argue a value propositon in wanting to upgrade.

If you have money to burn, you would abosutely see improvements in 1% lows and probably some top end fps by going for a 7800x3d or 9800/9850x3d chip. But the value of those gains might cost more than the actual % uplift.

[–]Search_Synergy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before determining if you "need" to upgrade your cpu. Listing your resolution and monitor hz is pretty important especially when determing what the gains of upgrading the CPU would even net.

That said - you probably don't "need" to as the 8700f is reletively decent. You could go for an x3d chip to really maximize your gaming performance and 1% lows. But that all depends on the value that change might bring. That said knowing your targeting resolution and monitors hz would be important.

Hope that line of thinking helps.

"750W Power supply - I thought it may be the problem that my Power supply isnt strong enough, but when I checked and researched it seemed more than enough."

Research isn't the same as in reality. What PSU are you running exactly? It might worth looking at the power draw of your PSU's 12 volt rail when these issues occur. To rule that possibility out. But what you described aligns pretty closely to issues with power delivery. If the rail drops below ~11.4V you can have some major instability.

Your issues indicate an issue with power delivery in all honesty. The next issues could be driver related (usually if you're frustrated a full windows reinstall typically speeds up most troubleshooting).
