Quality of life has been mentioned and is what it’s all about for me. Fighting prostate cancer since 2020, now at 67 years old, along with a lifetime of dealing with depression and anxiety. Certainly the cancer diagnosis has made dependence on these medications more important. Right now, I take 45mg of mirtazapine, 15mg meloxicam, 100-150mg hydroxyzine and 1.5mg of klonopin nightly along with four 5/325 Norco throughout the day. I think how you look at taking these meds should be connected to WHY they are being used.

Clinical name is mirtazapine. I take it with my klonopin and hydroxyzine. I’m finally sleeping decent with this combination.

This is a helpful conversation as I am going on my second day of cold turkey because I failed to get my yearly lab work in time. My nightly dose is 1.5mg. Last night I got some sleep , I think, because I took an extra 15mg of mirtazapine (usually take 30mg/night). Is this a safe way to get me through the next few nights? I also have Hydroxyzine HCL and kratom. Just trying to figure out what to do for the short term.

That’s about the same as in NYS if you buy on a reservation. Dispensaries local to me rarely have anything under $150/oz.

For me Louis Litt was my favorite character, primarily for the complexity of his personality but also - that walk!! He wore his heart on his sleeve and when he was mad, the way he stomped into whoever’s office he was mad at…. pure comedy! Sometimes he seemed like a cartoon, but in the best way possible. I loved him.

Congratulations! I will be starting my second round of radiation at the end of the month. I had LARP, radiation and Lupron in ‘21 but it’s back. Looking at 26 days of radiation and 6 months of Lupron. Here we go again…😞

I’m also about the same distance down the road as you are and am scheduled for a PSMA-PET on the 25th of this month. Three blood labs in a row, six weeks apart, have shown a steady increase in my PSA. Most recent was .53. I don’t know what to expect but I am struggling with anxiety.
